Once upon a time, before the arrival of Earthlings on Eiyressia, our three powerful gods — Des'tri'dem, Kezisjarenia i Azretia — lived together in harmony and unity. They helped each other, caring for each other, for all Worlds.

Unfortunately, as time passed Des'tri'dem, ruler of Abyss, the realm of Hell, wanted more power than he already possessed. He criticized the other two, especially Kezisjarenia, the most powerful of three. His views, hypocritical and fake, finally led to something much bigger than a normal argument. Kezisjarenia, fearing for humanity's good, asked Azretia, lady of life, to do everything in her power, to stop Des'tri'dem from spreading his ideas amongst the humans. This was a starting spark for a conflict between life and death.

Des'tri'dem didn't want to give up, because this way he would admit to Kezisjarenia's highness above him. He also understood that he would do nothing with just words. He entered the world of living from the Abyss with a great army of the undead, commanded by him and three generals, who were granted his powers. Ordis, Patich, Blys. Those names were feared amongst the living, because not only were they great warriors, but also skilled tacticians.

Luckily, the living had two gods and their blessing on their side. Painters, poets, artists, received prophetic dreams that commanded them to go on a war with the traitorous god. Some outstanding leaders of countries that existed at that time were granted powers, that allowed them to fight on a same level as the undead.

The fight with Des'tri'dem was hard, devastating. In places where his forces appeared, life was dying out. The forces of undead continued their march on Kezmykia, a continent with one of the biggest human communities. Victory for the undead would be equivalent to defeat of the living.

Even though she was trying her best, Azretia couldn't defeat Des'tri'dem in any fight. His words, way of thinking, all of it contained a grain of truth in her opinion. She didn't have the necessary strength to confront him, use full power of nature. She knew that not responding will cause the Reality, realm of the living to fall apart, changing itself into another Abyss.

Observing Azretia for a long time, Kezisjarenia came to the conclusion that she was powerless, unable to do any harm to the undead. Because of that, she had to take the matter in her own hands, or the entire humanity would be doomed. Kezisjarenia started to look for a weak point in Des'tri'dem's army, something that she could exploit for her own benefit. That something was Ordis, the weakest one of out the three generals.

The highest goddess hunted him in his dreams in form of Des'tri'dem, offering him immortality and power in exchange for betraying his people. Ordis, being confused at first with the sudden change in plans of his god accepted the offer, being partially persuaded by Kezisjarenia.

An effect of this decision was a skirmish which sealed the victory of Holy War for one of the sides. Final fight between forces of life and death. Although at first the undead were winning, the sudden betrayal from Ordis tipped the balance of victory on side of the living. Blys, feeling an incoming defeat, fled from the battlefield, leaving Patich on his own. He fought till the end, slaying hundreds humans and of Ordis followers. In the end, he died from the hands of the traitor, cursing him and promising his revenge on him.

After the lost battle, the war was almost over. The remaining undead who survived the battle, didn't know what to do without guidance from their great generals. Des'tri'dem's army weakened, loosing skirmish after skirmish. Humanity under spiritual guidance from Kezisjarenia pushed the god of death of out entire Eiyressia, driving him to the only passage between Abyss and the Reality. There, Des'tri'dem saw his defeat and gave up, returning to his World. The passage was sealed of by Kezisjarenia, imprisoning Des'tri'dem, so that he would never again be a threat to the humanity.
