"And that's why I don't eat hot cheetos anymore. Makes me throw up in my mouth a little every time I even smell them." Larry said, putting another item into a box. "Thats fucking sick." I said, brushing some of my hair out of my eyes. We were over at Ash's place helping her clean out her basement. She said that if we helped she would treat us to lunch, of course we accepted. I mean hey, free food.

"I'm happy I declined them, I wouldn't have liked being in the hospital getting my stomach pumped." Ash said, standing up and brushing herself off. Larry had just gotten done explaining an incident at their middle school.

Some kid had brought hot cheetos in a plastic bag and was handing them out to other kids. Mainly his friends but he offered them to others, Larry being one of those kids. Apparently, the kid had taken hand sanitizer and mixed it in with the hot cheetos. Larry and a few other kids got pretty sick, others had to go get their stomachs pumped.

Their school then placed a "no sharing" rule, which was reasonable. It was a nasty situation. "Yeah, my mom wasn't that happy." Larry said, letting out a half hearted chuckle. I let out a soft laugh and turned back to the drawer I was rummaging in.

I noticed a lavender colored box in it and took it out. It looked like a shoe box. "Hey Ash? What's this?" I asked. Ashley turned and walked over to me, leaning over my shoulder, some of her hair falling in front of my face. "Uhh, I don't know? What is this?"

She took it from my hands and opened it. She looked around inside, her green eyes lighting up a bit with some shock. "Oh. My. GOD! I haven't seen this in years!! Lar-Bear, come here!" She squeaked. Larry got up and stretched, walking over to her.

"Holy shit, how long has it been since we looked at these?" Larry said, reaching in to take what looked like a thing of fake lipstick. "What's in there? Lemmie see." I said, curiosity taking over me.

"Old stuff from grade school! There's all sorts of toys and items and photos in here!" Ashley chimed happily. She grabbed a stack of photos held together by a rubber band and placed the box on the table next to her.

She took off the rubber band and started flipping through the pictures. "Look! Here's us and the pumpkin patch they held that one year! And us and your grandparents' house! And......the treehouse..." Ashley said, trailing off.

"Why sound so glum- oh..." Larry said, looking over at the photo. I stood up and looked at the photo in Ash's hands. It was a picture taken in Larry's treehouse, it looked brand new in the photo.

I saw Ash, her hair was tied up in a ponytail and she was wearing a violet dress. Larry had a T-shirt and his signature backwards baseball cap, a smile on his face, showing his braces. To the left was a kid who looked very familiar. Tan skin, blonde hair, green eyes. Wait a minute.

"Is that, Travis?" I asked, looking over at Ash. She let out a rough sigh, "Yeah, that's him." Larry looked at the photo before rolling his eyes. "Come on Ash, we're better off without him. Just look at us now." Ash looked over at the taller brunette. "Yeah I know that but....ugh nevermind." I was so confused.

"What happened? Why is Travis in that photo? Did you all know each other back then?" I asked. Larry looked at me, "I don't wanna talk about it." I let out a huff of frustration. "Come on Larry, please?" I said. Larry gave me a short glare before sighing.
