Chapter 18

AMELIA'S POV

I woke up beside Neymar in his hospital bed. Today he was allowed to leave thank god. He was still fast asleep so I went and got him and I some breakfast. I got us two ham and cheese toasties with orange juice. When I came back I saw that he was awake on the bed. "Morning my love" I said placing the food on the table and giving him a hug. "Morning Linda" he said kissing my cheek. "How do you feel today?" I asked him unwrapping his toastie from the tin foil. "I feel better just very tired" he said. "It's okay we can have a chill day when we get home" I said kissing his lips. "Here eat up" I said handing him his food. "Thanks baby" he said starting to eat. I began eating my breakfast and went and got the doctor to do one last check up on Neymar before he went home. "So Mr Santos, all your cuts seem to be healing perfectly so you can go home today, but rest all day today and then you should be able to return to training tomorrow" the doctor said. "Thank you doctor" Neymar said. We thanked the doctor and made our way out of the hospital to my car. Neymar wasn't bothered getting his car fixed as he already had a few.

I went around and opened the door for Neymar and got into the car myself. I drove to Neymar's house and parked up. I opened Neymar's door for him and we walked into the house. "I'm going to get showered and get into comfy clothes so we can relax" Neymar said. "I'll do the same" I said following Neymar up the stairs. I waited for Neymar to come out of the shower then got in I came out and dried my hair and put on Neymar's sweatpants and hoodie. Neymar had put on the same. I walked out of the room to see Neymar lying on our bed . "It's okay if I wear your clothes right? They are more comfy" I asked him lying beside him on our bed. "Of course it is" he said kissing my head. We decided to go down to the sofa. I got us popcorn and drinks and blankets. We watched so many movies. Neymar laid on my chest while I played with his hair and cuddled him. After around 4 movies we chilled on our phones cuddling.

NEYMAR'S POV

Me and Amelia cuddled nearly all day and watched movies I wasn't complaining. I already felt so much better and didn't even feel any pain. Having Amelia by my side helped like everything, tomorrow is our two month and her birthday so I wanted to make it extra special for her so so during when I was recovering for the World Cup I made some plans for us. I have yet to tell her. I'm going to tell tonight.

I was cuddling her on the sofa while she scrolled on her phone laying on my chest. "It's your birthday tomorrow Linda" I said to her. She sat up and turned of her phone to look at me "and our 2 month anniversary" she said smiling at me. "Yes I know and that's why I've a little surprise for you tomorrow" I said to her holding her hands. "Ney I hate surprises" she said. "No it's a good one I promise" I smirked. "I planned this while I was recovering from the World Cup. So early in the morning we are going to catch a flight to the Maldives for your birthday and our anniversary" i said at her waiting for her reaction. "No way" she said excitedly. "Yes way" I said. She pulled me into a tight hug. "Thank you so so much baby I've always wanted to go there" she said happily. I hugged her back kissing her cheek. "Your welcome Linda and there's more" I said. "Ney this is already more than enough. This is all I ever wanted" she said. "Leo, ant , my family, Carol and Davi , my mum and dad and Rafa are all coming." She pulled me into an even tighter hug this time and began crying "Thank you so much this is amazing I'm so excited" she said. "Your so welcome my love" I said to her. "I love you so much Neymar Jr" she said looking at me. "I love you so much too Amelia Messi" I said pecking her lips. "Let's go pack" I said holding her hand and running upstairs. "What time is the flight?" She asked me. "3am" I told her. It was only 5pm now so we would an early night tonight.

We packed our bags for our holiday we will be staying for a week. I carried the bags downstairs while Amelia made dinner. I walked into the kitchen and wrapped my arms around her waist. "Smells amazing" I told her. "Thank you ney it's nearly ready" she said kissing me. She was making my favourite her spaghetti bolognaise. It was the way she made it. She always made it so perfect and I love it. She gave me my dinner and put hers on table and sat in front of me and began eating. "Thanks my love" I said to her. "Your welcome hottie" she smirked. "Huh what was that" I teased her. "Oh shut up or I'll take it back" she said laughing. "I'll shut up" I said laughing and putting my hands up. When we finished eating I done the dishes as she was getting ready for bed. She came downstairs in pyjamas when I had finished the dishes she sat beside me and watched while I played Fifa. "I can't wait for tomorrow" she said to me. "Me as well I'm so excited" I said turning of the game to talk to her. "Speaking of we should eat an early night" i said. "We should hottie" she smirked. Making me laugh as we walked up the stairs.

We got into bed and cuddled. "Goodnight my love" I said and kissed her lips. "Night ney I love you" she said getting comfortable. "I love you too" I said kissing her head and then we fell asleep. I made sure to set my alarm for early in the morning though for our flight.
