Chapter 20

AMELIAS POV

We finally arrived in the Maldives after a very long flight. For majority of the flight me and Neymar watched a movie and slept. We got of the plane and got a taxi to our villa. Leo, Ant, Rafa, Neymar's parents, Carol and Davi were all there. I was so excited to see them all as I haven't seen them in ages, it was before the World Cup since I last saw them.

We sat in the taxi as it drove to the villa we would be staying in for a week. "Is the birthday girl excited" he asked me. "Very excited she can't wait to see everyone and spend time with them" I said leaning my head on his shoulder. "Oh so your boyfriend doesn't exist" he said sarcastically pretending to wipe tears. "Unfortunately he does" I said sarcastically which made me burst out laughing. Neymar didn't seem to assumed. "I'm joking my love" I said kissing his cheek making him wraps his arms around me and kiss my head.

We finally arrived at the villa. The taxi driver asked Neymar for an autograph for his daughter, which Neymar gave to him then he refused to take any money from Neymar for his kindness. We took our suitcases out of the taxi and made our way into the villa. As I walked in and looked around no one was here and it was really quiet. Neymar was just smirking to himself. He knew what was happening, this was all his doing. Then they all jumped out from their hiding spots and smothered me with hugs."Happy birthday" they all said. "Amelia" Davi screamed hugging me tightly. "Hi Davi, how are you" I said hugging him back. "Happy birthday" he said. "Thank you Davi" I said and kissed his cheek. Then Leo came over and wrapped me in a big hug "happy birthday sis I have a big present for you" he said. "Thank you Leo, I really don't need presents. Anto ran towards me and hugged me tightly "happy birthday I love you Amelia" she said. "Thank you Anto I love you too!". Then Rafa came over and nearly made me fall she hugged me so tight. "Aa I missed you so much girl. Happy birthday" she said. "Awh I missed you to Rafa, thank you so much" I said hugging her back. Then Neymar's parents came over to me, which didn't even make me feel nervous I was so comfortable with the. They were the nicest people ever. First his mum Nadine came over and hugged me tightly "Happy birthday princess, we love you" she said. "Thank you so much Nadine i love you all too" I said hugging her back tightly. Then his dad came over and gave me a hug "Happy birthday daughter. We love you" he said. "Thank you so much Neymar, I love you all so much" I said.

I made my way into the kitchen after talking to everyone. A ton of food was laid on the giant table that had a beautiful view of the beach and the sea beside it. "Thank you so much everyone, this means the world to me". First they told me I had to go into the living room and open all my gifts before we started the party.  "We all have presents for you" Nadine announced pointing towards the pile of presents as we walked into the living room. I sat beside Neymar, he put his arm around my shoulder and kissed me. I started opening the presents.

I lifted up one of the gifts "That one is from me" Davi said cutely. I opened up Davi's present. It was a build a bear bunny because he knew that was my favourite animal. It has my name on its belly with a heart. "Press the heart" he said. I pressed the heart and it said "happy birthday Amelia, I love you and hope one day you marry my daddy" I began crying because of how cute it was. I hugged Davi tightly "thank you so much I love it as you can see" I said. He started smiling. Neymar comforted me as picked the next gift.
"That's from me and Anto" Leo said. I unwrapped the box and was surprised when I saw the newest IPhone. I immediately made my way over to both of them and hugged them tightly. "Thank you so much, I needed an iPhone" I said. "Anything for you we love you" Leo said.
I sat down again and picked up a box. "That is from me" Carol said smiling. I opened up the box and it revealed a beautiful pink sparkly dress. "This is gorgeous, I was actually looking at this in the shop the other day. Thank you so much" I said happily making my way up from the couch and hugged her tightly. "Your so welcome, you deserve it" she said smiling at me and hugged me back.
I picked up another present. "That's the one from me" Rafa said. I opened up the gift which revealed two matching friendship bracelets with our names on them. They were gorgeous. I immediately put my own and made my way over to Rafa and hugged her tightly. "Thank you so much this is beautiful" I said to her. "Your so welcome, I love you". She said putting on her bracelet too. 
I picked up the last box that was quite large. "That's the last one so it's obviously from me and Nadine" Neymar's dad said smiling. I opened the gift. Which revealed a massive photo of Neymar's family and me from the time when I first met them. It has beautiful silver, sparkly frame and on the picture it had in written. "Welcome to the family Amelia, we love you". This made me cry so much and Neymar. Neymar wrapped his arms around me and wiped my tears. He kissed my forehead. "Thank you much Nadine and Neymar this is so kind and thoughtful, I love it. " I said hugging both of them. "It's no problem darling" Nadine said. "Yeah your part of our family now!" Neymar said. I hugged them tightly. I thanked everyone over and over again.

I made my way into the kitchen where all the food was for the party. When Nadine walked in with a cake they all started singing happy birthday to me. Neymar got up from beside me and went behind the seat and wrapped his arms around me. I blew out the candles and everyone cheered. I got up and hugged Neymar and everyone else.

We sat down and began eating. We talked about me and Neymar moving in together and how I was going to be the psg reporter then we all started talking about football and catching up on each other life. After we finished, i helped Nadine and Rafa clean up. Then we all went outside to see the beautiful sunset. Neymar, Davi and his parents all sat up on the decking overlooking the beach as me Rafa and Carol went down onto the beach for a walk.

Davi sat on his dads knee talking to him, they both looked so happy as they don't see each other that often. They all seemed so happy taking and I was also really happy with Rafa and Carol on the beach. We ran down to the water and started trying to jump waves while holding hands. We sat down on the beach and talked till the sun went down. We then made our way up to the decking and sat down.

We all toasted marshmallows and told old stories about our childhood until Davi started falling asleep in his dads arm, so we all said goodnight to him and Neymar made his way up to the room Davi would be staying in for the trip. We all went into the living room and sat down on the couch to watch a movie. We waited on Neymar to come down and then we got popcorn. I cuddled Neymar as we watched the movie. When the movie ended Neymar's parents went up to bed and said goodnight to us. Then Rafa and Carol as they were staying in the same room. Then it was just me and Neymar. "We should probably go to bed too" i said yawning. "Yeah let's go" Neymar said kissing my head.

We took our suitcases from the front door and carried them up to our room quietly. We got what we needed from them and made our way into the bathroom in our room to get ready for bed. I got into my favourite pyjamas. Then Neymar just wore boxers. We brushed our teeth and I began putting my hair in a messy bun. "Did you enjoy your day?" Neymar asked me. "I loved it honestly, it was the best birthday yet thank you much Neymar" I said starting my skincare. "No problem princess you deserve it and so much more" he said kissing my lips. "I'll do the birthday girls skincare" he said. I sat up on the bathroom  counter. "Okay" I said happily. He started applying all my moisturisers and serums. He lastly put on my lip balm and put some on himself then kissed my lips. "All done" he said squeezing my cheeks. "Thank you ney, it's so much better when someone does  it for you" I smiled squeezing his cheeks back. 

He lifted me up in bridal style and carried me to the bed. We got into bed and cuddled as usual. "Goodnight bonito, i love you" I said kissing his lips. "Goodnight princess, I love you too" he said kissing my lips back. Then we feel asleep.
