Chapter 24

NEYMAR'S POV

I worriedly wrapped my arms around Amelia as she passed out. Anto has called an ambulance. I was shaking and feeling physically sick from worrying about her. I hated seeing her like this it broke my heart into a million pieces. I could feel slight tears coming down my eyes. Leo sat beside me and rubbed my arm "She'll be okay bro don't worry" Leo said. "I know but it's just scary, I don't like seeing her like this at all" I replied to him kissing Amelia's temple. Then ambulance men came running in and rushed her out in a stretche. "You go with her and me and Anto will meet you at the hospital" Leo said going to his car with Anto. I quickly got into to the ambulance and held her hand tightly, she was still passed out. I cried more on the way to the hospital. Many thoughts went through my head.
Will she be okay?
What if she doesn't make it?
Is it my fault?

My thoughts stopped when we arrived at the hospital they quickly ran towards a room and took her in and me, leo and anto had to wait in the waiting room, I nervously waited for a doctor sobbing. Leo tried to comfort me but none of it helped. I wanted her hugs and her comfort only.

Then a doctor came our way making us all stand up. "Are you here for Amelia Messi?" The doctor asked us. "Yes we are" Leo said. "Okay so after we took an X-ray it looks like the food Amelia ate had been poisoned or had some sort of substance put in it" the doctor said. "Is she o-okay" I managed to get out. "She is we have her medicine and she currently is awake but just very tired and drowsy, we are going to keep her overnight just for examinations" the doctor said. "Thank you so much doctor, can we see her" Anto asked. "Yes you can" the doctor said and left.

"Neymar will we go first because we will be leaving after?" Leo asked me. "Yeah" I said sitting down. After around 20 minutes leo came out. "She misses you bro" Leo said. "Yeah she is looking for you" Anto said. "Awh" I said. "Also one thing guys" I said. "Yeah" they both said. "Do you think Sara purposely put something in her food" I asked them. "That's what we thought" Anto said. "How about me and Anto go to the police station, we will ask for security camera footage from the cafe and also a copy of Amelia's X-ray to prove it was poisoned" Leo suggested. "Good idea that Sara bitch won't get away with this" I said. "Yeah she won't get of easy she could of done some serious damage to all of us" Anto said. "Well bye bro we will get this sorted you just give her your love and please look after her " Leo said hugging him. "I will bro don't worry, bye" I said hugging him back. "Take care of her and yourself Neymar, bye" Anto said hugging me. "Thanks Anto, I will. Bye" I said hugging her back. Then they left.

Then I walked into the room to see my beautiful girlfriend lying on the bed tiredly. "Ney" she said happily getting a burst of energy and happiness while I walked through the door. "Ami my love" I said hugging her tightly. "How are you feeling?" I asked cupping her cheeks. "Just tired, the doctor told me what happened" she sighed. "Aw my love I know he told us too, I'm so sorry." I said getting into the bed beside her and cuddling her. "It's okay ney, but was it Sara do you think because she hates me" she said laying on my chest. "Yeah Leo and Ant are going to the police station to get it sorted so you don't have to worry about baby" I said kissing her lips. "I'm honestly scared first this, next she'll kill me" she said immediately making my heart drop, I wouldn't cope if that happened and I most definitely wouldn't let that happen. "Oh Linda never say that, that won't happen the bitch will be put behind bars soon enough and I would never let that happen. I'll always protect you anjo" I said stroking her hair. She hugged me tightly and kissed my lips. "I love you ney" she said.

THE NEXT MORNING

AMELIA'S POV

I woke up in a hospital bed beside Neymar. He has his arms wrapped around my waist making me feel extremely safe and loved. Neymar is always there to care for me and look after me. I love how he protects me all the time, he really is just a sweetheart. I love him so much. I felt so much better today and wasn't feeling sick.
