It took a long while to convince Yasuo to not call Eve right away, and by that it meant Sera had to steal his phone while tears ran down her face, making it hard to actually see, so of course she assumed Yasuo had let her take his phone. Everything that happened still seemed too embarrassing to say out loud, but after he assumed that was the result of a "post nut clarity", Yasuo left it at that and comforted Seraphine by circling her back with his palm and offering his best sober cuddles on the couch.
Both of them had calmed their tempers after those minutes of almost quiet solace, and Yasuo offered to leave her alone, knowing very well his cooking skills wouldn't be much helpful that morning, not that hers were any better. At least he assisted by cleaning Bao's litter box while Sera prepared the cat's breakfast, being easier to distract herself by taking care of her companion. After saying goodbyes and closing the door Sera took the opportunity to feed herself without Yasuo's gaze being over her plain piece of bread and soda, that somehow still felt too much to swallow but she forced herself to it.
Without anyone else there in the apartment it was harder to not think about the previous night. The worst part is that she had enjoyed most of it, but couldn't even try to remember only the good experiences without being nauseated for now being aware who was being seen by Viego's eyes during those moments. The sudden knock on her door woke Seraphine from that torturous memory, and she groaned while complaining about her lack of forethought for not demanding Yasuo to not say anything. She wanted to come clean on her own terms, and it bruised her pride to admit her friends were right all along, although not in the way they expected.
She anteciped it to be Ahri or perhaps the four of them to be there, but instead she faced the perpetrator who had the audacity to look concerned, and it took all of Seraphine's inner strength to not break again, or worse, cling onto him and demand for his affections.
"My heart! I was so worried, you should've at least left a note before going home! I would understand if you had forgotten about a compromise" And after saying all of that Viego looked relieved in a way she had only seen in another situation, precisely last night.
Either he didn't remember, or he simply was trying to act like that accident hadn't happen. And it was immensely hard to stay mad at him, but Sera managed to keep her composure. Seraphine wasn't just a girl anymore, after making her dream come true in a miracle that could only happen once in a lifetime, she had no intent to bow down to anyone ever again.
"Is that how you called her? Corazón ?" Sera questioned first, more to prepare herself than him, but it still ache to see Viego's eyes suddenly become so hurt.
"What are you talking about?"
"He probably didn't even noticed" Seraphine thought, and it made the situation feel even worse to her, to imagine that Viego had his ex's image so ingrained in his brain he didn't need to try at all to substitute Seraphine for Isolde, as his mind would probably do it by its own. She had to physically push him as he tried to go into her apartment, and after making him stay in the corridor is that a flame burned into a loose thread of facts. In all those months of simply dropping by his house or meeting him somewhere else, not once did she even remember to have accepted or asked for a ride back home.
She never told him where she lived
But there was Viego right outside her door, leading Seraphine to a momentary panic as she also got outside the apartment and closed it before Viego could peek inside, looking at him exasperated as Viego became even more confused by the second.
