Christmas break na! woot more time for writing and stuff, so baka hindi pa ito yung last update /claps/

~

Luhan is fond of broken things.

He liked the broken stuff toy he had on his sixth birthday that is now placed in their old and dusty attic room, the ripped paper in his favorite notebook, and his favorite ballpen he used to write for his essays in highschool that was one, became two.

Luhan loved broken things, not because he likes fixing them nor he thinks he can fix them. He likes it because there's something mysterious and magical about being broken.

'Will it be fixed?'
'Would it go back to the way it used to be?'
'Or would it remain broken until it's forgotten and no one will have a clue that it even existed?'

Questions stayed in the corner of Luhan's mind.

It was something that kept him awake at night, scribbling through papers and caused him to run his hands in some of his thick books. He was known as the kid who always wondered about things.

Its idea is enough for him to think that some broken things should just remain unfixed.

Some.

It means that some are meant to broken, others are meant to be fixed.

Thus, he once knew a broken boy.

Luhan kept hanging around him, thinking that his unanswered questions would finally have the answers he always seek.

Yes, he's fond of broken things.

He liked the broken armchair that stayed in the corner of their classroom that no one uses anymore. He liked the broken watch his mother had.

And it's not surprising that he loved the broken boy. He loved how he was named 'Oh Sehun'.

He loved how his eyes look so lonely and empty, the atmosphere surrounds him that no one dares to enter. Luhan was the only guy who had the courage to approach Sehun.

Sehun looked beautiful; heartbreakingly beautiful.

Luhan loved the idea that Sehun didn't need to be fixed. He was a broken boy and he should just remain like that.

He treated Sehun like one of those mysteries he watched and heard when he was a child.

He doesn't need to be solved.

He doesn't need some fixing.

But one day, Luhan saw Sehun's smile.

For the first time since they met, this is the first time he smiled. And that scared Luhan.

Where's the broken boy I met?

Little by little, he placed a distance between them until Sehun forgot about Luhan.

Sehun's smiling and laughing and he had friends now.

How?

It was the only question that roamed in Luhan's mind.

How was he fixed?

It was sudden and he wasn't ready for it.

He didn't really loved the broken boy.

He shook his head.

He loved the idea of him being broken.

Thereby, his fondness of brokenness remained unraveled.
