Hunter (2) says "I bet she still is... Let's catch her off guard..." Both Hunters step up onto the front porch and knock-on Mae's front door. Mae's starting to cry, still on the floor but carefully watching her guest. Aleks slowly opens the front door while holding the shotgun up to rest on his shoulder. He speaks to the hunters, "Gentleman?" The hunters, shocked that a man had opened the door and not the faun they'd seen here before, jump back in surprise. "WOAH A MAN!" The hunter (1) exclaimed. Hunter (2), in dismay shouts, "Did you already shoot that little deer girl?!" Aleks' smile disappears as he slowly lets the shotgun fall into his palm, pointing directly at the two hunters in his midst. "Listen closely..." Aleks lowers his voice, peaking low and deep. "If you two don't get off this property in the next 30 seconds, I'll be turning you both into my new coat rack!" Aleks Cocks Mae's shotgun. Both hunters take off screaming into the forest.
Aleks spits on the ground outside and slams thedoor, with a disgusted look on his face. Aleks says in disgust, "hunters likethem are disgusting... Fauns have feelings too..." Mae, gets up off the floorand runs over to him. Hugging Aleks, as she cries out. "I can't believe theycame back for me... After everything they put me through by taking Buck fromme..." Aleks, cradles her "Well I'm not going anywhere till they for sure leave you alone, Mae." She starts shaking in his arms, "I'm glad... I could've been... Woodland stew... "Mae sniffles as Aleks tells her, "You aren't going tobe turned into stew!" He exclaims, "you're safe, and I have a feeling those guys won't be back any time soon!" Aleks grins and touches her shoulder.Letting out a small laugh as Mae grins at him." Yeah... Well, thank you..." Aleks chirps back, "Yeah, no problem! Let's close the blinds and curtains..." Mae says to Aleks "Yeah, for sure! Good idea, Aleks. That way they have a harder time seeing if we are here!" Aleks and Mae close the blinds and curtains in every room. Mae, still shaken up says to Aleks; "Well, why don't we just relax till nighttime comes...Those hunters showing up really scared me..." Aleks smiles and says "Yeah, ok no problem!" The two sits down and watches a movie, Aleks listening closely to make sure the hunters aren't back outside. All while keeping a close eye on the front door.
