Gus Pov:
As me and Matt walk down the path towards school I realize his face is flushed with a pink color. "Matty..? Are you okay? Your face is pink- Wait..- Do you have a fever..?!" I put my hand up to his forehead, but it wasn't warm enough for it to be a fever. Matty's face flushed even more pink. "I-Im fine..! It's okay-" He said, pushing my hand away lightly. "OH- s-sorry Matty..!" I said as I dropped my hand to my side, embarrassed. After a few seconds of nothing between the both of us, Matt broke the silence. "I-Im really glad you care a lot more than other people usually do.. " Matty turned towards me. His eyes were a light green color, so dreamy to look at.. Wait what am I thinking..?! He's my friend..qp My face flushed a light crimson, and I'm pretty sure he noticed.
We finally reached the school and I spotted our group of friends. "Willow!!" I called out as I ran towards where they were sitting. "Hey Gus!" She said with a smile. I notice Hunter resting his head on Willows shoulder, and I can't keep from smiling. "You two are so adorable together..!" I say with a playful smirk. "Yeah you've said that like five thousand times Gus-!" She said, giving Hunter a kiss on the forehead. "Mhhm.. I love your kisses Willow" Hunter said as he blushed lightly. "Awhh.. So- Adorable!" Luz said as she jumped up and down from excitement. "Don't even get me started on how you and Amity are Luz-" Willow said as she grinned. "Ah- Okay I guess you have a point..!" She said as she leaned back onto her girlfriend, Amity. I noticed Matt was still standing there the whole time, maybe he was waiting for me? Luz noticed him standing there. "Hey Matt! Are you just gonna stand there like a tree? You can sit down..! I haven't seen you in a while, I'm pretty sure you came back to Hexside?" She said sarcastically. Matt looked towards her when his name was said. "OH- sorry, I uhmm.. kinda zoned out..?" He said, looking embarrassed. He made his way to the stairs and sat next to where I was standing. "And yeah Luz, Glandus was a hellhole and my brother enrolled me back to Hexside so happy to be back!" He said happily. I couldn't keep from smiling, he looked happy as ever-
The bell signifying that school has started rang. "Oh No-.." Amity said. "DAMNNIT! We're late!" I said as I twirled my finger to make illusions of all six of us in class. "C'mon..! We gotta go!" I said as I grabbed Matt's hand. He turned a light shade of crimson, and ran along with me. "Did you see that? Luz said. Staying behind with the rest of the group. "Hell yeah I did.." Hunter said. "My best friend probably has a future lover, and is totally oblivious about it!" He said as he gripped Willows hand and led her up the steps. Luz and Amity followed as they all obsessed over Gus probably just finding a future someone.
