Four

Izzy walked into her safe house, in D.C with Rogers right behind her. He didn't know who she was under her mask, but she smirked to herself, knowing he'd have a coniption fit, once he knew. She gestured for him to sit at the dining table, in the open living room/kitchen. She saw he wary, but he removed his shield, and sat down. Izzy nodded at him, stepping to the kitchen area, pulling out things to make them sandwiches.

Once she was done, she have him a plate and a beer, then grabbed hers, sitting opposite him. She looked him in the eye, and removed her mask, setting it down next to her plate. She chuckled at the pure shock on his face and picked up her sandwich.

'Eat up Cap, you need your strength..'.. Izzy took a bite of herd, and he hesitantly did the same.

'You're Shadow?'... He asked, in-between bites.

'That I am..'.. She picked up her beer, taking a sip... 'I can see you have questions, so go for it..'

'How did you know, that they'd attack?..'..

Izzy finished her sandwich quickly, and sat back... 'You forget how good I am. As far as the world and SHIELD knows, me and Stark are on a romantic getaway, on our private island. I'm here as Shadow for a reason, there are many in SHIELD who fear me and what I can do..'.. She drummed her fingers on the table... 'I'm the one who found that Hydra has infiltrated..'

She saw him frown at her... 'Fury said to trust you, and only you. He gave me the drive..'

Izzy nodded at him... 'I created that drive. It would've taken everything, every file SHIELD had, right back to when it was founded. Pierce, Rumlow, STIRKE, they're Hydra, as well as many more..'

'So why you? What's on there that you want?'... Izzy smirked at him, picking her drink up.

'You're catching on Cap. Everything about me, who I was before Fury found me, including my birth parents, oh and that I'm Shadow. I need to erase it all. If Hydra finds out, they'll come for me..'.. She takes a large pull of her drink.

'How did you survive that jump from the elevator?'... Izzy chuckled at his question, putting her beer down.

'Same reason you did Cap..'.. She watches as realisation hits him.

'You're a super soldier?'... He puts the rest of his sandwich down.

'I was born with the serum in me. Hydra took me as a newborn, telling my mother I had died in childbirth. They raised me, training me to be their ultimate weapon. At 6, they had their strongest fighter train me, the guy with the metal arm, Winter Soldier they call him..'

She looked him in the eyes, and sighed... 'If I failed to beat him, I was punished. At 10, I was sent on a mission to kill the child of a Hydra enemy, and I couldn't. I watched the boy sleep, and something about him, snapped me out of it. He was about the same age as me at the time..'.. She smirked at him... 'The boy was Stark..'

'Wait, Tony?..'.. He leaned his elbows on the table, frowning at her.

'Yeah. I was so engrossed in watching him sleep, I didn't hear Howard come in with a bat, knocking me out. They saved me. Howard altered my memories, as he couldn't fully break Hydras hold on me, and so I wouldn't remember either. But thanks to Loki and his scepter, he broke those walls down, and I remembered everything..'
