Two

Izzy still hadn't heard from her dad, after Rogers and Romanoffs mission on the ship. A heavy feeling sank within her, and she began to worry. She had gained access to SHIELDs servers, watching through the security feeds, and checking through the files. She saw that Fury had spoken with Pierce, about postponing Project Insight, and then he left the building. She followed him on the cameras, seeing him get into his vehicle. She broke through the firewall, and tracked his movements.

Her heart went to her throat, when it showed the vehicle received damage. She hacked into local security cameras in the area, seeing her dad's vehicle flip, landing on its roof. Izzy saw a familiar person stalk towards her dads car... 'No, no no no..'.. She watched as he ripped the door off, and look inside. When he stood back up and walk off, she let out a sigh of relief, somehow, her dad had disappeared.

She got up, and went to find Tony. She needed to get to D.C, but also have an alibi. Finding him in his office, she rushed to him as he looked up and he stood, catching her in his arms. Izzy told him everything, and of her plan.

'I'll leave tonight with Happy, just be safe Iz. Please, I can't lose you..'.. He held her tight, kissing the side of her head.

'I'll be ok. I have to find him Stark, Hydra will do anything to stop him..'.. She looked up at him, giving him a small smile... 'They won't know what's hit them, if I got anything to do about it..'

'The soldier, do you know who he really is?'... Tony asks, sitting back down in his chair, and pulling her onto his lap. Using a free hand, he shoots off message to Happy.

'I don't, no. He always wore a mask. He was my guard and trainer, he taught me to fight..'.. She got lost in her memories. She remembered the first time she met him, she was 6, and was told by her handler, that the soldier was to train her to fight. If she didn't beat him, she would be punished for it.

'Hey..'.. Tony's voice snapped her back, she felt his other hand rub up and down her spine... 'Are you sure you want to do this? What if they figure out who you are?'

Izzy sighed... 'If they move ahead with this project, it won't matter. I need you to run ops from the island. Everything will be accessible from there. You'll be my eyes and ears Stark. There's no one I trust more than you, to protect me..'.. She cups a hand to his face, her thumb stroking his cheek.

'Ok, I'll make sure to use those photos from last time we were there, to post publicly. The media will believe we're on a romantic getaway again. No staff, only Happy. As soon as its over, meet me at the airport, and we'll pose for a few photos for the journalists, on our way home..'... He smiled at her. Tony wouldn't admit it, but he was terrified of what could happen. He didn't want to lose her.

'I still got my new powers remember. I won't use them, as Shadow doesn't have any, but only unless it's absolutely necessary. I'll find Rogers and Romanoff, see what they know. I'll get in touch with Hill, and tell her of our plan. You two can coordinate together, behind the scenes...'... She kissed him, and then stood up.

Tony looked at his phone as a message came through... 'Jet is ready, so I'll go pack our bags. Please, be safe..'.. He pulled her in for another kiss.

Izzy stood back up smiling at him... 'Its not me you need to worry about, its them. People need to learn not to piss me off, and attack my family...'
