2 weeks later
Author's POV
"Alright everyone, class is dimissed. Remember to keep studying, finals are only 2 weeks away." The teacher informed her students, making them nod.
Jungkook felt more nerves enter his body as he left that class, he was worried how stressed he would be. However, Jungkook considered himself a pretty decent student, especially when it came to tests, all of this was just stressful to think about.
The younger shook his head and tried to think positive as he walked through the halls, gotta remember the goal after all this hard work, a better life for his family and maybe--
"Watch it, piece of shit." A random boy snapped, purposely moving in front of Jungkook, causing the younger to bump into his chest.
"I-I'm sorry---" Jungkook immediately mumbled, quickly stepping back.
"You better be sorry, asshole." The boy growled, smirking as he pushed Jungkook to the floor, eliciting a hurt yelp from the younger.
"Ow..." Jungkook muttered in pain, hearing the ever present laughs and snickers at his misfortune.
"You gonna cry, little boy?" The boy continued to taunt, wanting Jungkook to cry but the younger was stronger than that.
"Leave me alone," Jungkook hissed at him, slowly standing up only to have the boy once again push him harshly to the ground, earning bruises on the heels of his palms.
"You're not gonna leave until you cry," the boy growled, snickering madly; he enjoyed seeing the poor students wouldn't fight back at him.
Jungkook bit his lip as he tried to think of a way out of this, should he just cry to satisfy the bully?
Just as Jungkook was going to, a voice called out.
"Leave him alone, Jose." Taehyung commanded lowly, coming up from behind.
Jose scowled at the latter. "Are you seriously defending this scum, Taehyung?"
Taehyung didn't answer, making Jungkook internally sigh.
"Just go, Jose. I don't need your face in my presence." Taehyung barked, his words sharp and Jose shrugged, obeying, he knew Taehyung could ruin his family's name so he left.
Taehyung helped his lover up but swiftly backed away once the younger stood up.
"Thank you..." Jungkook said sincerely, staring into those beautiful eyes he adored.
Taehyung noddes slightly at him, the younger knew they couldn't make any sign that they knew each other or loved each other.
"Taehyung, babe! Where did you go??" A high, sweet voice spoke from down the hallway.
Taehyung slightly cringed and turned around, allowing Jungkook to see a pretty, slim girl heading toward them. Jungkook already knew her, she was the richest girl here; Jisoo, the girl who was supposedly Taehyung's girlfriend when she grew older, it's what their parents desired.
"Hey, Jisoo." Taehyung greeted nicely, smiling his famous boxy smile, making a tingle of jealousy fill the younger's body.
Jisoo grinned at him, hooking their arms together, frowning when she noticed he wasn't alone. "Honey, what are you doing around this lowlife? Let's go study."
