Taehyung's POV
"Who's daddy's beautiful princess?? Who is?~" I cooed sweetly, our beautiful baby girl up in my hands, staring down at with the most cutest doe eyes, just like Jungkook's.
She lightly giggled at me, making me kiss her soft cheek.
"Daddy loves you so much, Mae. You're so cute," I continued to coo at her, pecking her cheeks, smiling at her precious little squeals.
"Aww, why are you two so adorable?" I heard my husband's exhausted voice call out from the front door, soon seeing him enter into the living room.
I greeted him with a wide smile. "Welcome home, beautiful, I missed you."
Jungkook pecked my head. "I'm sorry for being late, I needed to confirm a deal with a buyer."
"That's okay, baby. Mae and I just missed you a lot," I pouted playfully, turning Mae for him to see her.
It was Jungkook's turn to coo. "Aww, papa missed you too, MaeMae."
Mae squealed happily at his presence, I was glad to see our adopted daughter so comfortable around us now.
I gave her to him. "She's been speaking more, I can't believe how fast she's growing."
"I know...it won't be long before she'll say her first word, or start crawling." Jungkook said in awe with a hint of sadness as he caressed her cheek, earning another cute giggle from Mae.
Warmth filled my heart as I simply watched my husband coo at our daughter, kissing her tiny head repeatedly, I can't believe I've gotten such pure happiness, I thought money would satisfy all the emptiness and longing, but it never did and never will. Only the love I receive from Jungkook, Mae and my friends will. That alone brings more joy into my life than I could've ever imagined.
Never in my life will I fall into such a greedy lifestyle again, I'll continue to work for my family and love them till I die. It's something I wanted to do, and needed to do, my heart has never felt more completed when I'm with Jungkook.
I stood up to wrap my arm around Jungkook's tiny waist, pulling both of the love of my lives to my chest.
"I love you both so much." I gushed, kissing my husband's lips before pecking Mae's soft forehead.
"I love you more, Tae...so does Mae." Jungkook beamed up at me, kissed my chin then laid his head on my chest. I loved when he did that, I could feel his whole body on me, he trusted me enough to lay and be by my side, the love I received from this man, it's so beautiful.
I sighed in content, cuddling my family in my arms securely, no matter if we have little or more in this life, if we took at it with strength, passion and love, it'll be a good life filled with real happiness.
Forever will I be grateful for what happened to me.
