10) Picnics and Squirrels (Shinkomi)

Hitoshi and Kaminari go on a picnic date. Cute things lead to unexpected confessions, Kaminari learns about life in the Aizawa household.

(Kaminair's pov)

Me and Hitoshi sat in the park, He made a picnic for our 2 month anniversary date, We were laying on our backs, watching the clouds. My outfit of the day was a short black skirt with a green cropped sweater. Hitoshi was whereing, his black sweats and a cat sweater.

"Look Its a bunny on a bike!" I shouted and he snorted

"Its clearly a bunny eating marshmallows, Blondie." He smirked looking over at me.

"Humph, Its a bunny. Same difference." I whined moving over to cuddle into his chest. My skirt going up a bit from the wind and from me moving.

"Hey watch it, be careful you'll accidentally flash someone." Hitoshi moved to cover me.

"You act like I'm wearing nothing under here." I sent him a smile.

"Its a short skirt and your not wearing boxers or shorts." He pointed out.

"Protective much?" I laughed, he blushed slightly.

"Lets eat, im starving." He smiled at me, opening the basket.

"Where'd you get the basket? Did you buy it for the date?"

"No, I stole it from Frankie." He smirked pulling out a sandwich.

"That explains the Fnaf." I laughed pulling out a sandwich.

"Shes a fucking Nerd." He laughed.

"I know you guys aren't identical but you really look alike sometimes." I bit into my sandwich.

"I sware we have that weird twin thing, like we mirror each other. My allergies start acting up so do theirs." He complained, taking a bite.

"Your both cat like." I pointed out.

"What?" He looked at me like I was crazy.

"Your both like cats. Frankie is a super cuddly cat, who needs a lot of attention. And your like that cold cat who would rather be alone, but once you get comfortable you get clingy."

"I hate that you know us so well." Hitoshi sighed, opening a drink.

"I want to cuddle."

"We can later, Denks." He kissed my head and I pouted. 

"You know, your like a ferret. Full of energy but loves to be cuddled." Hitoshi laughed. A Little squirl came over and sat on our blanket, arms up like it was begging for food. I tossed a peace of meat at it, it picked it up running away.

"Hitoshi, I forgot your present at my house." I pouted.

"Well then I guess yours will wait." He sighed.

"Can we cuddle?" I asked again and he sighed.

"Come here." I ran over and plopped down into his lap. We layed there embracing each others presence, until we heard tiny crunches.

"Did you hear that?" I asked, His arm tightened around my waist.

"Yeah?" We looked at each other then the attack started, The squirrel came at us, I kicked a few of them. I cant use my quirk or Ill fry them alive. Hitoshi threw some bread at them to distract them, We grabbed our stuff and ran for it.

"This is the craziest thing I've ever done!" I shouted, we finally lost the squirrels, We walked through a wooded pathway, onto a bridge.

"Question, where'd you get that skirt?" Hitoshi asked.

"Your twin, Frankie said they bought the wrong size." I shrugged.

"You look good in a skirt." He complemented.  

"Thanks, nice cats sweater." I blushed at his comment.

"My dad bought it for me. He has no since of fashion, Papa is the one who buys us clothes." He complained, I giggled at him.

"Is Aizawa the more strict one?" I asked.

"Kinda, Both of them can be pretty strict but lenient , they let us off with way more then they should." Hitoshi laughed, "The other day, I snuck back in for yours and my Papa was standing in the door way.

"I would have shit my self." I laughed 

"Yeah, Papa can be scary when mad, but he made fun of me and didn't tell Dad." He shook his head.

"Did you tell him whe-"

"No, I told him you where home alone and you called me crying over a spider." He laughed.

"Wha- Rude. Im not ready for the Training camp."

"Your lucky you get to go, But we can sneak off to make out in the woods."

"Oh how fancy." I giggled. "I wish I had parents like yours. Mine are so mean." 

"Don't worry once we come out, you can stay at mine." Hitoshi kissed my head.

"Off topic but, Dose Frankie like Bakugo?" I asked.

"Don't tell him but yes, Why?" Hitoshi asked, I handed him my phone.

"When we went to the I-Island Kirishima got Bakugo to confess his love for her." 

"Frankie only said she liked him a couple days ago. Its weird, Frankie's never been like this. Crushing on someone who isn't dead." Hitoshi half laughed. 

"You know, you can tell your the older sibling. Frankie acts a bit younger." I laughed.

"Well, Frankie went threw some traumatic shit in middle school. She lost a part of her childhood. Im not going to tell you what happened, its a twin secret." Hitoshi sound a bit saddened.

"I knew you didn't hate her." I smiled.

"Huh?" 

"You act cold towards her since she gets a lot of attention right? But you don't actually hate her." He looked shocked.

"I mean yeah, its annoying that our dads pay more attention to her but now that Im dating you Their a distraction. I can sneak you in or I can sneak out." Hitoshi smiled. 

"See your thankful for them. You need to be nicer to them, she probably thanks you want her dead." I looked over and his eyes widened. 

"Please tell me your kidding?" 

"I knew you had a soft spot, of cores she knows deep down you do love her, you have nothing to worry about. " I smiled placing a hand on his shoulder. 

"Im, so happy to have you." He placed a kiss onto my lips. "Come on, I promised my dads ill be home soon." He held my hand tightly as we walked back to mine. He dropped me off and i kissed his check. 

"See ya Toshi." I smiled and he turned a light shade red. 

"See yeah blondie." He blushed.  

(Hitoshi's pov)

I got home at the same time as Frankie. 

"Hey Toshi, How was your date?" 

"It wasn't a date!" I paused and looked around, I guess I can fuck with them. "Don't tell our dads but he gave me a kiss on the cheek before I left." I mean I am telling the truth. 

"Aww, you have a boyfriend!" Frankie giggled.

"He's not my boyfriend!"

"Yet!" She laughed and ran for the door. I chased them up to the door.

"Don't tell them." I said before she opened the door.

"I won't, twin honor." she promised.

"We haven't done that since The incident ." I rolled my eyes, with a small laugh. They sent me a soft smile before heading inside.
