Thank you for reading Season 1 of The Silk Moth Dream. I am taking a month-long break while I prepare more episodes and even more artwork to this passion project. In the meanwhile, please find the character introduction for Evie and Ryan, the final pieces of the puzzle.
Evie and Ryan are the last guardians standing. They are protecting what's left of Earth, in a way that makes sense to them- methodically and by the books. To them, destroying human civilization is not the way to reverse the climate change. Their methods require sacrifices, which are hard to come by when everyone thinks the world is ending. Therefore, they are enforcing rules and regulations so that the greater good can be achieved.
In a way, they are more idealistic than anyone else in this dystopian cacophony.
