Snow

It's been a few weeks already. I've had lots of headache recently and have been seeing visions. The weirdest of visions. Trainings have been long and boring. All I ever do is meditate. Every time I finish I have so much pain and have to take double my medicine. I'm afraid I'll run out sooner than I thought.

Besides that Ren has given himself the task of cooking breakfast and lunch and delegated me to make light dinners that usually consist of cutting fruits and placing them on plates.

Although he is not the best cook.

Today I decided to make cook. I can't stand how he can't cook. If I'm stuck here for a few months I can at least have a decent meal or two. I wake up early and slip out of bed. I pull on my slippers and a robe before walking over to my vanity table where I brushed my hair up into a messy up do.

I open a small drawer that contained a small trinket box where I kept my mothers sun amulet necklace. She gave me hers, a moon necklace. Stating it would belong to my other half one day. It sat next to the sun, a silver pendant of a half moon.

Smiling to myself I pull it on and slip through my door to make it to the kitchen unseen.

I turn on the lights quietly and nod to myself. Deciding on what to make I grab my ingredients and equipment and get started.

I decided on making honeycomb cakes with a side of steamed tauntaun milk tea.

The cakes batter was all done making me smile. I reach into the cabinets trying to grab the molds to cook them. As I reach for the molds, they flew over my head. Making me whip around only to see Ren, shirtless in his bottoms.

I feel heat rise to my cheeks causing me to look away.

"What do you think your doing?" He asks as he holds my molds hostage. "Ren your cooking is awful." I flat-out admit, he jumps in surprise. "My cooking is not awful..." He mumbles as he walks over to me.

"Either way it is not the job of a princess to make me meals. I am one in charge of taking care of you." He grumbles and I groan.

"What if we take turns?" I ask, only to receive a quick no.

I hold my hand out and attempt to use the force to retrieve them but no budge. "Ughhh for crying out loud Ren give me them."

"No. Use this as a learning experience. Try using your force to get what you want!" He exclaims as I look at him dumbfounded.

"The molds?" I ask, making him drop his head and sigh. "You'll never get the hang of your power if you keep acting like this." He groans and I grumble. "It's not like I'm not trying." I say, rubbing my temples I look at my hands.

"Every time I use them, I keep seeing images. Like their memories I have forgotten about. I keep reaching them but end up with the biggest headaches. It's hard to focus when all I get is pain and unanswered questions. Are these memories? Are they visions?" I ask myself more than him.

Ren sets the molds down and walks over to me. "Show me." He says, I look up to him confused. "Show you?" I ask and he nods. "Close your eyes and focus on one of these images. I'll place my forehead on yours to see, but you'll need to drop all of your walls."

I hitch a breathe, if anyone could help me right now its him.

My father trusts him, so should I.

Nodding slowly we stand by the counter and I close my eyes. Taking a deep breathe I try remembering one of the visions.

"Sol! Sol! C'mere my little sun!" A light brown haired woman called.

"I feels like I'm watching a film, but I know that little girl is me." I voice as I feel Ren place his forehead onto mine.

"Coming mama!" The girl, Sol shouts. Her hair was short, light brown hair with thin blonde streaks. Her skin was tan, a warm color like her name. They were in the fields of some planet.

She  couldn't have been older than two or three. I couldn't see her face only her back.

"That's the woman in my dreams," I mumble. "Focus Snow, try seeing her face." Ren says and I hum a, "mhm" in response.

My point of view switches as the image changes.

Now we were in a house. A little boy pops up above a crib. "Poe let your sister sleep." The same woman, the mother says. I look around the room, we stood in a nursery.

The crib was in the corner of a wall with some dressers. In the other corner was rocking chair where an old woman sat smiling at the little boy.

"Poe why don't you put this on your sister. She'll be leaving tomorrow." He's handed something I can't see. I try switching the angle but on catch a glimpse of a string with an oddly shaped pendant. This makes my eyes widen as I try to see the pendant.

I open my eyes as I'm surged with an immediate and intense pain. This causes me to collapse to the ground. I felt my head bang with pain. "Snow! Are you alright?!" Ren asks as he holds me up by my arms.

"Get my medicine!" I shout in pain. Images flood my eyes as I cry in pain. "GAh!" I cry as I feel Ren grab my face. "Snow! Hold still!" He shouts as he tries opening my mouth for my medicine.

That was when I saw his face.

But it wasn't his, it couldn't have been.

A young boy similar to Ren's smiles at me, it felt like the whole world was frozen.

"What's wrong Sol? You look like your in pain." He whispers as he held my face. "I-I-I'm not Sol." I say, this makes him laugh. Shaking his head he smiles, "Count to three with me okay?"

I shake my head as I feel tears stream down my face as my head continues to pound.

"You can do it. Just like when you got nicked by my uncle's saber. Okay?" I agree and he counts to three slowly.

"One...two...three!"

I open my eyes as the pain instantly goes away.

Ren seemed to be in shock. I felt my cheeks wet with tears. "Thank you Ren," I say before passing out.
