Yeonjun fails to handle things well.
First, he doesn't know what's going on to sort it out, to begin with and second of all, something's off. He has no idea what, all he knows is that he can feel it. It's like ants are trailing along his body from head to toe and leaving those tiny little goosebumps all over his body.
His skin tingles and he shivers, staring down at his crossed arms where his hair is slightly raised and the bumps decorate his skin. Something isn't right, he doesn't know what, he can't see anything out of the ordinary, but he can sense it.
He looks around from left to right. People go about their day nonchalantly, completely unaware of the fact their future alpha is having an internal panic attack.
The birds chirp happily, singing up to the sky, nothing's wrong, yet things don't seem right. He can only describe it as when you're in an open field and there's no wind, where things are eerily still and you don't feel like you're alone.
Everything looks normal, but it can't be, not when he feels like this.
It was fine for the first few hours after he left his house, which makes the unexpected change all that much worse. He can't help but think the worst, that the feeling bugging him is a warning of an oncoming attack, but he can't see anyone.
How can he protect his people if he can't stop the danger before it begins? He settles on messaging those necessary of the possible danger, a warning to stay alert and usher everyone inside at the slightest indication of danger.
It's the best he can do unless he decides to isolate everyone, locking them into their houses until he's certain there's nothing up, but he can't do that to them. They don't deserve to be scared like that, and he'd hate to bound them to their houses. With that decided, he'll keep an eye out himself. He'll scour the entire village and check there's no intruders. Knowing his luck, it'll be one of Kwangsoo's nasty tricks.

"That's the worst possible thing you could've suggested," Beomgyu dismisses with a shake of his hand, fluffy hair following his movements and covering his face slightly when he stops and pouts at Soobin.
They've been out for a few hours now, stomachs filled with pastries and drinks that were once warm and Soobin's arm being used as Beomgyu's personal bag holder. He'd bought a few things and got Soobin a small gift to say thanks for carrying all the things he considers to be 'a few'.
"Why not? I'll teach you myself." Soobin turns his head towards the younger with an expectant look, and there's something about it that tells Beomgyu that squirming his way out of this one isn't going to be easy.
"Because I don't need to learn," Beomgyu tuts and offers a sassy move of his head, shutting Soobin down with the cross of his arms and a final turn of his head.
"Beomgyu, it's dangerous to not know how to swim. It'll be easy if you let me teach you."
"It's not dangerous at all. You'll come and rescue me if I ever need you.""I thought you hated relying on a big, strong alpha." Soobin smirks, knowing his added description will frustrate his best friend. And he's right, earning himself a hard exhale and narrow eyes.
Beomgyu bites the inside of his cheek, staring Soobin up and down. "I hate large bodies of water more than I hate entitled, egotistical alphas," Beomgyu snaps back and Soobin bellows at him, tilting his head back as he laughs in amusement.
"Wow, Beomgyu. That's some really strong words you're throwing at your future saviour right now."
"Actually, just let me drown." A well-mannered, sour frown forms on Beomgyu's face.
