Lex felt her gun being relieved from her grip as she growled recovering "You underhanded bastard!" Surprisingly the man replied to her, "Oh that's rich coming for you." Lex blinked away the light and looked him in the eyes. It was Eli, of all the people in the world she could encounter here it had to be him.
"Well, fight fair then. Go on," Lex told him in an attempt to reduce the chance of her injury when she inevitably had to take him down which made it surprising when he shrugged and tossed his knife aside "Fair enough."
Eli was too sure of his virtual training to realise how useless it would be against Lex. She circled him, observing how his stance changed as he decided on what standalone combat style he would attempt. Eli had decided on Wushu and was watching her closely from his distinctive position. She feigned a roundhouse punch that Eli raised his arms to block and then immediately darted forwards to deliver a sharp kick right between the legs.
"Holy hell that hurt!" Eli yelled. Lex pretended she hadn't been obsessed with him when she started "That's where I know you from. You're Eli," he rose to his feet pathetically "Yeah, you always introduce yourself to people like that?" "Only to murderers and my father... Why didn't you run?" Eli laughed loudly You blew my earlobe off, I’m here to ask you if you’d like to have half of my earrings I don’t think I’ll need both sides anymore! Oh and by the way, could I kindly ask you to stop shooting me, that’s getting annoying!”
“I already decided to stop shooting you,” Lex stated “How about the earrings then?” Lex stopped and looked at Eli closely. This man she had wanted to notice her for her entire life, and this was the first time they had even spoken. She didn't know what it was that came over her when she grasped onto Eli and pressed her lips onto his. "Yeah," soft, supple, and warm “I always wondered what that would feel like. I guess I was right.” Lex took a second to look at his injured form before tossing one of her healing pickups at him, scooping up her submachine gun, and dropping off of the roof.
Lex smiled to herself in a daze as she descended with her leg and arm holding the metal pipe. When she landed she looked back up and waved goodbye to Eli, who was hanging over the side of the roof looking down at her. She giggled for a moment, before she cleared her throat and her head and heading into the alleyway.
