Emma pushed her trolley through the crowd on platform nine of King's Cross station, where they were supposed the catch the Hogwarts express from. She stuck close to her family, which wasn't much hard, considering all she had to do was look for a bunch of redheads, and there was a 95 percent chance that it was her family.

Emma was feeling a new kind of activeness and energy reverberating through her, as she took a step closer to the barer to platform nine and three-quarters.

"it's packed with muggles like usual, come on quick kids or we'll be late," Molly said, as she walked with Ron. Arthur wasn't there with them as he had to go to work. Ginny was walking with Bill and wasn't particularly feeling elevated like the triplets.

Bill had a natural way with kids. He could make them smile in the snap of a finger. He could please them and somehow manage to explain to them why something is good or bad for them, without wanting to rip someone's throat out

All of this was the reason, Ginny had been left in his responsibility as she had started crying the first thing in the morning because she had been told that she couldn't go to Hogwarts just yet, as she hadn't come of age.

"But, I'll miss Emma" she had said, making Emma grin at her so very widely and sit her on her lap and talk about things she could do while all of them were gone from the house They reached the barrier, Emma had crossed several times. It was nothing new for her Yet, but she felt the same thrill, she had felt while passing it for the first time, maybe even more.

"Bill, Charlie, Percy, you first Molly said, as the said people, crossed the barrier one after the other, Bill with Ron.

"Okay Fred, George, and Emma' she said

Fred stepped in front, and winking at his triplets, he ran forward and passed through the burner. George crossed next, after grinning at Emma.

She stepped ahead, and with a smile on her face took a deep breath. She pushed her trolley, and passed through the barrier, an all too familiar experience, yet feeling enchantingly new.

She had seen the platform nine and three-quarters more than a dozen times, but this time it looked even more beautiful.

The red train, gleaming in the morning September sun, billowing smoke. Kids waving out to their families, friends greeting each other, the rush of seats and all the hurry, made Emma smile

"Finally" she muttered.

"Looks even more beautiful, doesn't it?" Bill said from behind her making her jump. She nodded

"It's like, I'm seeing it for the first time," she said, in a daze.

"I've been there" Bill replied, as Molly and Ron joined the group consisting of Bill, Emma, Fred, George, Ginny, and Percy. Charlie wasn't there.

"Where's Charlie?" Molly asked, looking around.

"Oh man, he met Dora, so he left. Told me to tell you he said goodbye" Bill replied, and Molly nodded

By Dora, he meant Nymphadora Tonks, Charlie's best friend. The two of them clicked instantly in their first meeting. and became best friends ever since Dora was in Hufflepuff. She was a regular guest at the Burrow, and Emma and the rest of the family liked her immensely. She was a metamorphous and half-blood witch. Her mother and father, Andromeda and Ted Tonks were good friends of Molly and Arthur.

"Okay then," Molly said. "It's almost time, you should go onto the train and look for your seats," she said. They hugged each other, goodbye

Emma hugged Bill. "I'll miss you, big brother," she said
