"Why yes! Captain Palette here is my right hand man! He's wonderful! Very skilled and intelligent as well as creative! And a wonderful mentor!"She says sweetly
She looks to me with a smile.
"Who is he, Pal Pal?"She asks
I sigh.
"Tina, this is Goth...my best friend. Goth, this Tina, also my best friend."I say
She smiles at Goth.
"Oh! A best friend!"She says
Then it sinks into her mind and her smile fades.
"Ooh...You're the angel. I've heard about you."She says with a frown
"Best friend?! Pal Pal?!"Goth says in shock
"I'm allowed to have more than on best friend, Goth."I say
He shoves the yellow roses to me again with a pleading look in his eye. Tina sees that I'm uncomfortable and sighs, taking the roses instead.
"Palette, why don't you go on ahead? The leaders are waiting for you and the environmental teams are looking for your guidance."She says
"Of course. Bye, Goth."I say, going ahead
"Really? You break his soul and the first thing you give is yellow roses? He said he'd protect you with his life and you kiss the lunatic out for his blood!"I hear her say
"What's wrong with yellow roses?"Goth asks
I keep moving until I can't hear them. I speak with the leaders, who were pleased that they could have their troops clean and train more on the grounds. Then I start helping the environmental groups try to restore the land to life. Then some guards approach me, claiming that there is a ruckus at the east border. I march over as they guide me, only to find two more familiar faces that I'd rather not see. My parents banging on the gate.
"Why are you here?"I ask
"I want to see you! I know how to fix our family!"Dream says
"We want you with us! We're taking you even if force is required!"Ink snaps
I shake my head.
"I would not advise trying to get violent."I say
"As if you could do anything."Ink chuckles
The guards back away. Nightmare rises beside Dream with a smirk. Then he takes a few steps back.
"What are you doing here, Brother?"Dream asks
"For the entertainment." He replies, getting out some popcorn
"What do you-?"Dream begins
Ink bursts through the gate, swinging his brush with his gaze locked onto me. I snap my fingers and in an instant he is tied to the ground.
"Why can't I move?!"He shouts
"Taste of your own medicine. Go on, brother. Go to him. I dare you."Nightmare says
"What's this on me?"Ink asks
A puddle of paint forms and slithers up beside me, climbing my arm and hanging over my head.
"I've learned to take all that you've given me, good and bad, to mold into something new. A paint snake is on you, to put it simply."I say, petting the head of the second one.
"W-What?"Dream says
"That boy has grown powerful once we broke him, huh?"Nightmare chuckles

"So, Dream. Ink. Listen to me when I tell you to back off. Leave me alone. I'm done with you coming after me and causing trouble. You're only out for yourselves and if you come near me again, there will be consequences!"I snap with a grin
I hear running footsteps coming from behind and prepare another snake to be summoned, seeing both Dream and Nightmare focus their gaze on whoever is coming.
"What's going on here?"Tina asks
I glance over, seeing her marching closer with Goth.
"You fraud!"Dream snaps, summoning his arrows and bow
He aims right at Goth, pulling back to fire but gets tackled by one of my snakes.
"Don't even try that. You two stay back."I say, shaking my head
"Ah! The two I was waiting for!"Nightmare says, looking at my best friends
I send three snakes at him, tying him down and biting.
"Don't even give a thought to it. These cobras on you have venomous bites with positivity."I warn him
Dream smiles at this as Nightmare trembles.
"Don't be too proud, Dream. I have some with venomous bites of negativity if you try anything."I say
He frowns and snaps his restrained fingers while still holding an arrow.
I turn to Goth and Tina, seeing them disappear.
"There we go..."Dream says
I turn to him.
"Where did you send them? What did you do?"I snap
"Oh relax! They're safe somewhere you'll never find them!"He says
"Yeah, well don't be so sure. We thought he'd never meet his cousin or brother and he did. We thought we'd always have him, but here we are."Ink sighs, seeming bored again
I snap my fingers and they disappear, the snakes teleporting them away before slithering to me. I fix the gate with a few brushes of paint and snap of my fingers to solidify the paint into metal replicas of the gate pieces. The guards quickly shut the gate.
Now where did he send my best friends?
The guards start swarming around me with questions and I sigh, trying to answer and reassure them as I kept moving.
They better be okay....Today is just going GREAT!
