Goth's POV weeks later
I frown, dragging myself through the hallways. I sit in my math class and sigh, seeing the empty seat beside me. Palette's seat. I miss him...I wear the necklace that dropped from him when he...went away. I sigh, remembering everything.
Should've taken him away the moment he said yes...Shouldn't have stayed around there...Shouldn't have let him get hurt...Should've kissed him and loved him when I had the chance.
"Excuse me for interrupting. But can Goth Death please come to the main office?"A voice on the intercom requests
"Sure thing."My teacher says
I get up, pulling my scarf and hood to hide my face. I trudge my way to the main office, shaking my head.
I....What could they want with me?
I see familiar flags sticking out of the doorway. A pair of guards step out in familiar armor to stand watch. They glance over to me and stomp twice. I go inside and the secretary glances at me.
"You're getting signed out to join the leader here."He says
Tina turns to me with a smile.
"Hello, Goth. I thought that it'd be better for us to take privately about this."Tina says
She hugs me, then feels how stiff I am and backs away. She looks me in the eyes and looks shocked at my state. She leads me outside, taking out a large box.
"How did you get here?"I ask
"We made enchanted gifts to allow him to come to my world when he wishes and vice versa. My bracelet glowed red the other day and he told me if that were to happen, check a box that he gave me during his last visit. It was only to be opened if something happened to him.....I thought you'd like to see it as well given the implications."She says, revealing a small chest
I focus my gaze on it and feel my soul fill with dreadful hope. I hated that he thought or prepared for this yet hopeful for what it may be.
She slowly opens the chest to reveal some papers and a smaller box. The inner parts of the chest were lined with small portraits of each of us that he loved. Then at the center there was a heart labeled:~Who I treasure~
I smile at the sight. One stack of tiny folded papers were labeled for shown loved ones. One labeled for me sits on top of the stack.
Palette....
I see another paper placed in front of the box. It is labeled In case of Dream! Behind it had notes saying In case of Ink, In Case of Nightmare, and In Case of other troublemakers!
He really was prepared...
I grab the note concerning Dream and unfold it.
"Dear Whoever Reads this,
Hello! Hi Tina or anyone who reads this. Given that you found this, I assume that you're someone that I love has found the box of letters and this of course. I'm probably not around or in the best condition if you find this. This is in case Dream is the one responsible. Knowing him, it's something impulsive and self-motivated, probably when something doesn't go his way. Worst case scenario, I stopped him from using his weapon and got severely hurt. No matter what it seems, I want you to know that it's okay. I have learned how his weapons work and how his behavior could influence it. And I have prepared solutions. We'll meet again, just not in the same way...probably. I love you and hope that you're all okay. In the smaller box is something that I've prepared in case of loss due to Dream that may help. <3
