Sleepless (Felix x Reader)

(This takes place in the academy years at the monastery)

     (Y/N) pov

     I heard loud noises coming from outside, they were coming from the training grounds. 'For gods sake, who the actual hell would be out training this damn late?!' I thought as I got out of bed. "Oh my, why are you out of bed so late (Y/N). You need to get some rest." Sothis said. I ignored her and walked out of my room. The cold air hit my skin immediately and I hated it. But because I was too damn stubborn to go back inside, I walked over to the training grounds.

    Once I got there I opened the door and guess what, I saw Felix. Of course it was him. He was the only one of the Blue Lions (besides Dimitri) with so little common sense that he would allow him to stay out this late and train. 'What an idiot.' I thought. "Felix!" I called out to the boy. His head quickly snapped in my direction and he yelled at me. "What the hell (Y/N)?! Shouldn't you be asleep?!" "I should be asking you the same thing! It's bad for your health to get such little sleep you know..." I said in a concerned tone.

Felix pov

   '(Y/N) is concerned about me? That's sweet of her, but I don't need her to worry about me.' I thought. "(Y/N)!!! I have an idea. How about you duel me and if you win, I won't stay out late to train anymore. But, if I win, you have to train with me from now on." I said without thinking. 'Wait, why would I want to train with her?! It's not like we're friends or anything. But she's so kind and pretty. Wait, why am I thinking like this?! And about (Y/N) of all people?! I can't be in love with her, can I? No I'm not in love with (Y/N).' I thought. "That sounds good. Prepare to get you ass kicked Felix!" (Y/N) exclaimed. She picked up a sword and walked over to me. I chuckled at her confidence. "Good luck." I said. "You're gonna need it." I muttered the last part under my breath.

  The fight began and (Y/N) charged right at me. 'Predictable.' I thought. I prepared myself to block her sword from hitting me but instead of swinging her sword, (Y/N) kicked me. Her foot smashed into my face as I fell to the floor. I clutched my face in pain. "Oh shit. Are you okay Felix?" (Y/N) asked in a concerned tone. I looked up only to see the most beautiful sight in the world. (Y/N) stood there with her (h/c) hair flowing in the wind. Her beautiful (e/c) eyes staring down at me with compassion and worry. I felt heat rise to my face. 'What the hell?! I-I-I'm blushing?! What the fuck?! How the hell did (Y/N) make me blush?! Oh shit. I'm in love with (Y/N)!!!' I realized this and it only made my face become a deeper shade of red. She held out her hand to me and helped me up. Her touch was so warm. "(Y/N), I've got something important to tell you and I'm only going to say it once. I love you." I said. (Y/N)'s jaw dropped. "Y-y-you love me... YAY!!!! I love you too Felix!!!!" She exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug. For the first time in forever, I smiled. I hugged her back for what seemed like forever and I wasn't about to let her go.
