It's okay. It's cool. The kiss didn't mean anything. Caleb was just... turned on from seeing you. It was the extreme sexual chemistry that made him suddenly kiss you in his car.

The kiss didn't mean anything. He just wanted to fuck you. That's it.

I sighed in relief.

I didn't know how convincing I was when I told him that I haven't thought about the car kiss when in fact, it bothered me so much the whole night I decided to avoid him as much as I could.

Of course, there was that minor bleep when River literally forced me to bring Caleb his cake, but at least everything has now been clarified, and I can finally go to sleep in peace.

With the amount of shots I decided to take last night just to take my mind off the fact that Caleb kissed me in his car, it was definitely not a surprise that I woke up that morning with a massive headache, feeling extremely crappy.

I didn't wanna get up, but I was also starving with a desperate need to pee, so I forced myself to get up and head to the bathroom before grabbing some pain reliever for the pounding on my head and a glass of water before getting back to bed. It was only 12pm, after all.

Of course, that meant that when I woke up hours later, it was already nearing dinner time and the sun had started to hit my room with that golden hour sunlight. As I got up for the second time and thought of what I wanted to eat for the day, I started craving for Korean Barbecue.

There was one at the building across my apartment and the smell of Korean Barbecue wafting through the air every time I opened my balcony doors always made me want to drool.

And I absolutely had no problem eating alone, but I only ate alone whenever I knew that there wouldn't be too many people, and considering that it's almost dinner time, I think it definitely would make me feel weird if I ate alone, so after getting ready so I wouldn't look like a menace to society, I went to the apartment next door and knocked.

And just my luck, Caleb was the one who opened the door, looking like he had just woken up from the loud knocking I just did.

"What?!" He asked in an annoyed tone. Of course, the fact that I somehow annoyed him for the day completely made my... day.

"Is Casey home? I've been texting her and she hasn't been replying" I asked Caleb. I mean, I never texted Casey, but I was hoping she at least would be here.

"No. She's been out since lunch with River" Caleb answered as he rubbed his eyes. Of course, the fact that Casey wasn't there made my face fall as I realized I'd probably be that one weird girl who ate Korean Barbecue alone.

"Oh... okay" I told Caleb, who now had both his eyes half open and was looking up at me through his thick eyelashes.

"Why are you looking for Casey anyway? You know she's barely here" Caleb asked as he crossed his arms and leaned by the door frame, making me gulp. Given the fact that Caleb was completely shirtless and was only wearing his boxer shorts, it was an extremely attractive sight to see how his bare muscles flexed when he crossed his arms.

And basing on experience, I knew exactly well how strong those arms were... and that's not what I was here for! Hang on!

"I was.. actually just gonna ask Casey to go with me to that Korean Barbecue place across the street, since I'm craving for it so bad" I told Caleb, who quickly shot his eyebrows up

"Why don't you just go alone?" he asked, making me look at him like he was the stupidest person on earth right now.

"You can't just go to Korean barbecue alone without looking... sad" I told Caleb "People are gonna start judging you and I just... can't deal with that right now with this massive hang over" I added as I took a deep breath and prepared myself to turn around and go back to my apartment. I'd probably just order Postmates or something. Dammit.
