me and matthew were fucking dying of laughter bc we saw a bird fall off a tree. it's so fun being high everything is fun and you don't care about anything. both our eyes were bloodshot red and we looked at the time. "only 20 minutes passed by.." he said with his hand on my shoulder for support. "we *hic* can't go home like this" "i knowww.." "let's hang out with your weird friends until our eyes turn like blue" "b-blue?" "i said pink" "you said blue" i said laughing like a dumb ass. "l-let's just go.." we both started walking and stumbling around like if we were drunk but we both agreed that it would've been like hell when we wake up from a nap after. "hehehsw sit sit sit your gonna f- *hic* fall" he sat on the grass and i started laughing at his dumb ass. "you missed the bench" "oh shit really?" he said sarcastically. we then blended back into the friend group and acted like we were always there. we were silently giggling and pushing each other. "yooo why are your eyes so red!" some random ass kid started being annoying and pointing us out. "hey hook us up!" me and my brother just stared at each other and both gave the 'i ain't giving these shit heads anything' type of look. "we ran out" "damn bruh" i looked at kenny and noticed his concerned eyes. whatever he always gets high. "y/n you ight?" "mhm.." i said before putting my head down on the table. i started getting a headache and bothered my brother the whole time we were at the park. "ight who's coming back to my house and who's going home?" a lot of the boys went with kyle while some of the girls left out of boredom. i didn't wanna be the only girl hanging out with a lot of guys but i didn't wanna hang out with the girls bc they gossip a bunch. "holy shit i feel like a balloon" "same expect i feel like a water balloon" "y/n you coming or not the girls wanna play truth or dare again" "oh uhm" i looked at my brother and he nodded. we then both walked together but he then told me was going with the boys. "oh okay" he walked away and i felt a wave of relief hit me.

i don't need to be all tightened up bc i'm afraid to say something stupid. i sighed and put my hands in my pocket. it was sunny but had a slight breeze so it wasn't horrible. i looked down at the floor thinking abt kenny and what i should even do with him at this point. i like him but i keep on going into denial about it. ugh i wanted to smash my head into a wall. the boys and girls were all the way ahead of me and probably forgot i was even here. i relaxed and didn't feel as high. i don't think imma try that out for a while. maybe just three or two times a year but not anymore then that. i don't want my lungs gone lmao. i decided to turn around and just walk home by finding the direction on my phone. i quietly turned around and ran quickly. i wanna see if they do anything if they find out i'm gone. i'm fine if only my brother cares or maybe kenny but idrc if someone else looks for me.

10 MINUTES LATER
i was in that mini forest that's connected from the park. i sighed and just took in the nature since i barely do stuff like this. "YO Y/N?!" i felt my stomach drop and instantly sat up and walked a little bit more down into the forest. i got off the path and walked into the trees. i fidgeted and decided once they walked into the forest or if they even did i'd run out of the park and leave somewhere random. "yo should we check that forest?" "yeah ik my sister this is probably the first place she'd go" "ugh when can we play truth or dare!" "chill out girls once we find y/n we can go now come on!" "fineee" everyone walked into the forest and i waited for them to go all the way in then i'll run. i heard they're voices fade and knew i should run. i walked quietly then ran past all the houses near the park. i felt adrenaline rush through me and felt hyper. i did a quiet cheer and ran down the block. i knew the way home from here so i just ran off memory. i was half way to my house and then noticed kenny just waiting by my door looking around since he didn't have a phone. "shit.." i said out of breath. i decided idrc since he technically can't do much bc he doesnt have a phone. i ran down the street and ran to my house. "where tf were you?" "none ya" "you can't just fucking say that like you weren't gone for what felt like half an hour" "fuck off kenny" "sorry" he said quietly but still mad" "so you staying here?" "i have to until kyle and the boys get here" "bruh" "you wanna make out while we wait" "what has always been my answer?" "no" i just nodded sighed. "who do you like?" he looked at me confused but flustered. "someone" "if you tell me yours i'll tell you mine" "oh" the sparkle in his eyes got slightly dull and he looked the other way.

KENNY'S POV
i felt a lump in my throat and fidgeted with my fingers. so she doesn't like me! she wouldn't wanna tell me her crush if i was her crush. "i don't love anyone else besides you~" i said flirty. "well then why haven't you asked me out?" "i'm joking" i said knowing damn well i'm not joking at all. "oh so you don't wanna kiss?" "i mean i don't really mind doing it?" "so you don't like me?" "oh uh- i mean not really" "oh well i was gonna say i like you bu-" "wait what really?!" "mhm" "i l-" "i was joking you should've seen your face!" she said giggling. "so not funny ass hole!" "aw you wanna kiss? yk what put your tongue in my mouth while your at it" she said with that smile that she always does.  "fuck off" i said annoyed. "what you rather do it in the movie theater?" i rolled my eyes while she kept taunting me. "kinda suspicious your saying all this, you sure you haven't thought about doing this with me~?" i said back while grinning. "what- uh no why would i?" she said looking the other way. "come on just admit you love me so you won't have to deal with the embarrassment later!" "shut up dumb ass" "hey, your not denying it though!" she stayed silent and ignored me. my eyes widened quickly from realization. did she actually like me?
