Chapter 6

Chapter 6 - Slowly

My lips stayed at her cheek a little longer than necessary but she didn't push me away and i felt relieved. As my lips left her cheek i hugged her tightly and she slowly hugged me back. We stayed by the side of the tree house longer, we talked, ate dessert, joked around with each other, it was just the best. There were times that we didn't talk but it wasn't an awkward silence, it was comfortable silence, we simply enjoyed each other's company.

I was thinking back to her revelation and it really caught me off guard. I actually didn't expect her to have a crush on me. She showed no interest in me whatsoever. Every time i looked at her she was laughing with her friends or smiling at other people but on rare occasions, she was arguing with Connor or doing silly faces with Jordan. I craved that attention from her. But now i finally had that chance. I was a little scared that i'd blew my chances with her tonight but she turned out to be more special in my eyes than any girl i've met in my life.

"Hey you okay?" Georgina snapped her fingers in front of my face that snapped me out of my train of thoughts. I looked at her and she had this concerned face that makes my heart beat a little faster.

"I'm all good" I took her hand in mine

"Uhm, my mom just texted me and i have to be home in half an hour. I'm sorry Aiden. I want to spend time with you but they tend to get a little overprotective" she squeezed my hand as we stand up together.

"It's okay. Maybe i'll start planning our second date" I smirked at her while we were climbing down the tree house. I had to climb down first so that i could assist her but not before wrapping her cover up around her waist.

"Oh really? Says who?" She smirked right back

"I did unless you had other plans" I was curious what was going through her mind. Oh God maybe she didn't want to have another date. Maybe she got turned off somehow and was just being polite.

"Yeah actually i do. Since you've hinted that we'll have a second date. I'm totally preparing something for you" She smiled at me and i reached for her hand so she can grab onto me as she jumps down.

It's official. This girl is beyond amazing. She was a little mysterious with her silence but she can be feisty. Her smile was the second best thing i wanted to see. That smile could really light up a whole room. But the thing that really captivated me was her eyes. Her beautiful dark brown eyes.

"And i will love anything you plan" I wrapped my left arm on her shoulders and pulled her closer

"Promise?" She grabbed my waist and looked at me. It felt good to have her around me like this and look at me with that smile of hers.

"Promise babe"

"Babe?" She looked at me with curiosity

"Yeah cause you're my girl now" I opened the door for her to get in and closed the door while running to the other side and starting the car.

"Aiden... Uhm" I looked at her and she was playing with her fingers

"What's wrong?" I grabbed her hands with my own

"Aren't we taking things too fast?"She asked

I groaned and tilted her chin so that she can look at me

"Georgina, we can take this as slow as you want. I just want you to know that i'm serious about us"

"I just don't feel comfortable with you calling me babe. Can we please take this slowly?"

"Sure" I started driving to her house. It was a little disappointing that she felt like this. I thought that she would like that i was claiming her as mine but she reacted differently.
