~ Chapter 5: First Friend ~

Lilac's POV

I felt like I was floating on clouds as warmness engulfed me. For the first time in my life, I felt such warmth. What's this heavy feeling on my waist though. My eyes fluttered open to be greeted with sunlight shining through the curtains in front of me. I blinked a couple of times to adjust to the brightness. I looked down to see someone's arm on me. It was a muscular arm. Instinctually, I tried to pry away the hand with full strength, but it wouldn't budge.

I huffed in frustration and looked at the owner of the heavy hand who was fast asleep next to me. A man? He had pale skin, a chiseled V-shaped jaw. He was close to my face. A tiny beauty mark was next to his right eye. Strands of blonde hair fell on his face covering his eyes. My hand reached out to remove the hair falling on his eyes.

He opened his eyes, startling me. Those eyes! They were a bright golden like the sun. He smiled at me showcasing his cute dimples. He reminded me of a cute puppy I used to take care of in my world. Well, I would just feed him my leftover food at the school every now and then.

I blushed, realizing what I was just caught doing. He glanced at my wrist as I tried to retract it, but he caught it in his hand. Bringing it too his face, he planted a kiss on my palm. "Good morning, lovely Lila!" His voice was sweet like honey.

My brain glitched for a few seconds as I tried understanding the situation, I was in. Let's see... I woke up with a strange man in my bed who looks handsome.

"Oh! Do I really look handsome?"

"Did I say that out loud?" I covered my mouth.

His laughter echoed in my ears. "You do not have to be so shy! I like you too. You are very beautiful!" His voice sounded like honey drops. So sweet and delicious. If he wasn't a human, I would have eaten him up, I think. He placed a kiss on the hand covering my mouth as my head became hazy and I dropped back on the pillow.

"I can see why all of them love teasing you!" He leaned over my face. "I like teasing you too!"

My heartbeat went faster as my face turned red in embarrassment. That grin could kill someone. Ah, please leave me alone. Someone please, save me from this embarrassment!

"Enough chatter!" Someone banged the door open as I squeaked jumping onto the blonde-haired guy.

I opened my eyes to see myself sitting on top of the blonde-haired man. He smirked at me, pretending to lazily yawn.

"Ah... T-This..." I looked at the door to see another tall handsome man with sea blue eyes, tanned skin, and dark hair. He wore the same clothes that Orion and Darius wore yesterday.

Darius? Last night he...

My head pounded as I fell against a hard chest.

"Lila. Are you okay?" The concerned voice of the blonde-haired guy made the haziness go away.

"Lila?".

I shook my head and held onto his strong chest underneath for support. As my vision came back, I looked at the blonde-haired man, who was staring at me with sad puppy eyes. Why did he look so sad? The one with blue eyes stood next to the bed looking at me with concern.

"I'm okay! Thank you."

The blue eyed man cleared his throat and looked away embarrassed. "Next time, I will open the door gently." There was going to be a next time when I did be sleeping with the blonde haired man. I inwardly cried.

"Who are you two?"

"I'm Mason! An alchemist and a wizard!.", spoke the blonde-haired man.

"That's so cool! So, you can make like potions and perform magic?" I couldn't contain my excitement and the smile that was brought to my face.
