7- Kennedy

Today was the day of Joe's game. I just finished with my work and turned on the tv. The game already started, but it was still the first quarter. I changed into my sweats and crop top. As I finished getting comfy I saw Joe jogging back onto the field. As I was watching I found myself getting more and more invested in the game and how Joe was doing. Every time Joe and the Bengals did well I cheered a lot. Before I knew it, it was halftime.

I texted Joe during halftime. I wasn't sure if he would respond because I want him to focus on the game, but I still sent him a you're doing awesome, good luck text. I went to the kitchen to grab a water and a smoothie bowl. When I came back I checked my phone and saw a notification from Joe. The message said thank you and i'll text you after the game. By the time I saw that Joe had responded the second half was starting. Joe was back on the field and as he was playing I took a picture to post on my story.

The game finished and the bengals got the win. Joe played amazing and I was so happy I decided to watch him play. Even though the game finished I assumed that he had media duties after the game so I wasn't expecting him to text me anytime soon so I decided to start editing a week in my life to post soon. As I was editing the video I felt my phone buzz. I looked down and saw the message notification with Joe's name.

*Text message*

Joe: hey I just finished with my media duties sorry I didn't text you again sooner

Kennedy: no worries i assumed you had media duties

Joe: okay just didn't want you to think that I was ghosting you

Kennedy: of course i wouldn't think that. i'm used to waiting due to media duties cause both Charles and Arthur have media duties after they race

Joe: so i saw your insta story

Kennedy: (laughing emoji) the game was very entertaining and you played amazing

Joe: thank you. Was wondering if you wanted to facetime later to talk and maybe have a movie night together

Kennedy: that sounds wonderful, but are you sure you want to facetime tonight after your game. you won't be too tired

Joe: yeah i'm sure i'll call you around 9:30

*end text message*

After I finished texting with Joe I started pacing. I was so nervous. I couldn't calm myself down so I decided to text the whatsapp group.

Arthur: why is this such a big group chat

Charles: arthur this has us and everyone Kennedy is close friends with

Lion: ignore your brother, what's up

Kennedy: okay when i tell you i need all of you boys to promise me that you won't be overprotective

Charles: i make no promises

Arthur: i agree with charles

Mick: okay arthur and charles listen to kennedy you know she is very smart

Kennedy: thanks mickie. anyway i kind of have a virtual maybe date with Joe tonight

Carla: how is it a maybe date

Kennedy: well, he didn't specify if this was a date and i don't want to assume that it is a date

Kika: I would say ask him just so it gives clarity not only to you, but also to Joe

Carla: What time are you guys facetimeing

Kennedy: around 9:30

Kelly: did you decide what you're wearing

Kennedy: yeah i did. I decided on wearing my sweatpants and a crop top

Lily: aww cute, it's a great outfit for a movie night and you'll look amazing
