They didn't talk. They just sat there, waiting. Olive understood what it meant to sometimes not want to talk to anyone, so they didn't.
Michael never wanted things to change. For the next couple years he hoped that every morning he would wake up and hang out with Olive, go to band practise with Calum and Luke, only Calum and Luke, then have the same lunch, finally ending the day in bed with Olive. Because that's how his life was, that's how his days were suppose to go. If they didn't go like this, it wouldn't be a good day, Michael would spend the rest of the fraternising over how he could have stopped this from happening, how he could have tried harder and if he had then everything would be okay, nothing would have gone, nothing, nothing, nothing...was alright.
"Have you ever looked out at the world and just wondered, how many rabbits have shit right where you are sitting?" Olive asked, hoping to break some of the ice. Michael tried his hardest but laughed and shook his head.
"What's wrong with me Olive? Why can't I just be happy with how the world is, without me wanting to change it?" His voice broke as he dipped hi head. Michael kicking at the ground with the heel of his foot. Olive thought, careful with the situation.
"Well, maybe if the world didn't need changing, you wouldn't find it's flaws."
"The only flaw in the world is me." He looked at her with tears in his eyes and never wanted to let them fall.
Michael. How could he think he was a flaw? Michael the most beautiful, kitten on Earth. The boy who can make you happy with just the twinkle in his eyes. The boy who you could never bare to see upset just because it would break you heart, you'd do anything just to see him smile. He thought he was a flaw.
Sure everyone thinks this to themselves at some point in their lives, even if it's just for a brief moment and you don't always mean it. But it's different when your friend tells you they feel this way because you see:
Humans have the capability to spot every, single flaw in themselves but they could search the people they love for their whole lives and would never be able to find one.
"Michael, look at me please." He turned towards Olive and she took hold of his hands, him tensing up at the simple touch. "You are a beautiful boy, the world is the flaw of your life. There is nothing wrong with you Michael, we are the same, if there is something wrong with you then there is with me. I want you to look me in the eyes and tell me that I am a flaw-"
"Olive I can't do that!"
"Exactly Michael, I am you."
"No, because if you were me I wouldn't want to do this." And he kissed her. He connected their lips in one swift movement, not giving either of them enough time to think. It was the thing you read about in story books, where you just act upon impulse. The trouble is, you mind will eventually catch up with you.
"Shit. Oh fucking bollox I did it. I kissed her. shit shit shit." Olive grabbed hold of him, trying to calm him down.
"Michael, calm down. Breathe for me, Sweetie." He closed his eyes and breathed in, holding his breathe till he turned red and finally breathed out.
"You kissed me?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry, I regret that."
"But you just did it again!"
"Right I did, didn't I? Fuck erm, bye for now." And then he ran as much as far as he could, it was the first time he didn't have a plan and yup, that was a mistake.

Oh crumpets, it has been a while
I would like to apologise now, at the moment I am doing my GCSEs and although I haven't done a single bit of revision, I do hope to pass.
So this story doesn't actually have that much left and that means I can start Rags to Riches, a new start
Though no-one is really reading this
