Chapter 6: Hunger

"So you are telling me that you fucked Loki and got him knocked up. The supervillain who tried to overthrow Earth and become the ruler." Nick Fury said angrily. "Along those lines." Tony said softly. "Where are you right now so I can give you a piece of my mind." Nick said. "I am at a Pizza shop in Manhattan." Tony said. "Where is he?" Nick said. "In the car." Tony said. "You left him in a car. He could run away from you at any second." Nick said. "He's sick. He isn't going anywhere." Tony said. "From now on we have all eyes on your tower, so you best be careful how you move forward, Stark." Nick said. "We have eyes everywhere." Nick said as he hung up. "How did it go?" Loki texted. "Decent." Tony said. He got the pizzas and headed out to the car where he found a note, and got in. "You feel any better, Lokes." Tony said. "Not really." Loki said as he sat up. He got them back to the tower, and walked in. Loki was in Tony's room by eight that night. Tony stayed out and played Board Games with the rest of them. Peter showed up at 10 and Loki went to his aunt's apartment. "Aunt May, can you open the door?" Peter said. "Of course, Peter." Aunt May said. "Hello." Loki said as she opened the door. "Didn't you try to take over New York?" May said. "He's engaged to Mr. Stark, May. I don't think he's a threat." Peter said. Loki just remained silent. "Well, welcome in. I can't think your fiancé enough for the opportunity he has given Peter." May said. Peter went to his room, and May sat in the living room with him. "You are awfully quiet. Is something bothering you?" May said. "It's nothing. May I ask where your bathroom is?" He spoke. "It's down the hall to the left." She spoke. He walked to the bathroom and closed the door. "Tony?" Loki said. "Yes, babe." Tony said. "I can't do this on my own. I need you." Loki said. "I'll be there in 10." Tony said. Tony practically sped over to the apartment and May opened the door. "Hello, Tony." May said. Tony looked around for Loki but found no sign of him. He sat on the couch in the living room and heard the toilet flush, and saw him walk out. "Hey." Tony said as he patted the spot next to him. Loki quickly sat down, and May looked at them closely. "We are offering Peter to come in and live with us. We have enough room in the tower, and we are getting a house together." Tony said. "Because, -" Loki cut him off. "I'm pregnant." Loki said softly. May walked over and wrapped her arms around them. "You promise me that Peter will be safe." May said. "Pinky promise." They both said at the same time. "I'll help him pack his things." May said. "Thank you both. Dinner is almost ready. Would you like to stay?" May asked. Tony looked at Loki who just nodded. "Alright, babe. You sure you are up to this?" Tony said. "Of course." Loki said as he stood up. They all sat down together, and Peter chatted amongst them.  They finished and Loki helped her clean up. "So, your pregnant." May said as Tony went to Peter's room with him. Loki just dried a dish, as he knew this part would be painful. "Yes." He said softly. "How far along?" May said. "Three months." Loki said. "The average gestation for Jotunns is 12 months." Loki said. "You aren't Asgardian?" May said. "That's true. I am a Frost Giant, which explains how I can get pregnant. Since my people are both, which makes me fluid." Loki said. "Oh." May said. "I'm sorry." Loki said softly. "Don't be sorry, Loki. I want to get to know you better." May said. Loki just smiled. "You have a very nice apartment. I am sure Peter loves it here." Loki said. "You have a beautiful smile." May said. "And don't be afraid to show it." She spoke. They finished and went to the living room and were talking about books when Tony walked out. "Seems like you found Bambi's favorite topic." Tony said. May just smiled. Peter walked in with them. "Is it alright if I spend the night at the Tower?" Peter asked. "Yes, of course." May said. Loki grabbed his backpack and Tony got Peter in the car. "Good luck." May said as she hugged him. Loki walked out. Peter was in the front with Tony. "You are alright." Tony asked as he got in. "Just drive." Loki said. They arrived at the Tower and Peter and Ned were playing Call of Duty again. Loki grabbed a tub of ice cream out of the freezer. "Babe?" Tony said. "Don't." Loki said. Tony wrapped his arms around him in attempt to lighten the mood only to get slapped. "Okay." Tony said. "I'm sorry." Loki said as he started crying. "OH." Tony said as he wrapped his arms around him again. "I'm a terrible person." Loki said as he sobbed. Tony just sighed and moved the tub of ice-cream. "I think you are just hormonal, Lokes." Tony said. Loki just leaned against Tony's chest and sniffled. "Can we?" Loki said. "Yeah. Of course. Let me go put the ice cream away." Tony said. "Okay." Loki said. Tony walked back in the bedroom and cuddled with him as he turned on the television back on. Tony walked in and wrapped his arms around his pregnant partner which only made him start to cry. "It's okay, Lokes." Tony said as he held his sobbing counterpart. "Just listen to me. I promise you and the twins will be safe here. Nobody is going to hurt you." Tony said. Loki just looked up at him and wiped off his eyes. "You can't promise me safety, Tony. I am putting you in danger just by being here. I am a monster, Tony." Loki said. "You aren't a monster, I love you." Tony said. "How do you know? What if we were laying here and I stabbed you to death." Loki said. "Jarvis would tell the authorities. And you would be put in the custody of SHIELD. I know how much you love them." Tony said. Loki just chuckled and leaned against his chest. "I won't. But I don't need your pity." Loki added as he kissed him. "Let's go spend time with Peter. Make him feel welcome." Loki said finally. "Alright." Tony said as they walked back out. "Hello, lovebirds." Ned said. "Shut up, Ned." Tony said as he chuckled. "What are you two up to?" Tony said. "Just playing a video game would you two like to try." Peter said. "I think we should turn it off and have a normal humane conversation." Loki said. Loki just smiled as Tony sat next to him. "Bambi here has brought up a good point this evening." Tony said. "You mean you're pregnant invalid counterpart right?" Ned said. Tony wrapped his arms around Ned's neck which caused him to start coughing. Peter tried to release Tony's grip. "Not happening. Unless you have something to say." Tony said. "I'm sorry." Peter said as Tony released Ned. "Now what are we going to say?" Tony said. "I'm sorry, Loki." Ned said. "It's fine, but next time I would watch your back." Loki said. Loki said as he handed him his controller back. "I'm going to bed." Loki told Tony. Tony sat with the boys in the living room and cooked dinner as he heard Loki crawl into bed. "What the hell was that?" Tony asked the two of them. "You can't just say stuff like that. He is extremely sensitive." He added. "I didn't know, and he broke my controller to bits." Ned said. "Figured." Tony said. "He looked contempt on breaking a part of your body." Tony added. "That's on you." Peter said to Ned. "At least you didn't call him fat." Tony said. "He's getting there though." Tony said. "He's put on a little weight." Peter said. "Agreeable." Ned said. "Loki requires your assistance." Jarvis said over the household speakers. "Shit." Tony said. He walked in the bedroom and found him sitting on the bed. "You alright Reindeer Games." Tony said. "No." Loki said. "I'm hungry." Loki said.
