Chapter 22: Movement

They were heading back from their babymoon in Norway, and Loki was struggling to stay awake. He was leaning against Tony's shoulder, and he couldn't fight it any longer. "Go ahead and sleep, Lolo. I will be here when you wake up." Tony whispered as he wrapped his arms around him. Loki sighed in relief as he let his eyes close. He fell asleep safe by Tony's embrace. Hours later, Tony felt him stir in his sleep and stir awake. "What's wrong?" Tony said. "I have to pee." Loki said. Tony chuckled, "You are pregnant with twins, so it's only natural." Tony said as he walked him to the back of the plane. Loki sat up and said, "They won't stop moving." "Is that normal?" Tony said with concern. "Yes. I believe that it is normal. They have been quite active lately." Loki shifted in his seat and leaned against the wall. They sat back down and talked for the rest of the flight home. They arrived home, and Tony saw Loki crawl into bed so he went and worked on the gift that he was going to give him when the child was born. Every day seemed to be a new challenge for Loki, and Tony was so thankful that he was doing this for him. Tony heard footsteps behind him. "Tony." Loki said. "What, babe?" Tony said. "Will you get us a pizza?" Loki said. "Yeah of course. What topping do you want?" Tony said. "Just cheese is fine, but I want you to stay upstairs with me." Loki said as he moved closer to Tony. "You want me now?" Tony said. Loki's lips went against Tony's and he knew he had no choice in the matter but to follow through with his request. Tony kissed Loki and they walked upstairs together. "Now, let's go get your pizza." Tony said as they got in the car together. Loki was asleep in the back of the car as Tony went in. "Lolo?" Tony said as he tried to get him to wake up. "Did I fall asleep?" Loki said. "Yeah." Tony said softly. Loki let Tony help him upstairs and they ate the pizza as they laid on the couch together. "Where's Peter?" Loki said. "On a quest with everyone else, but I am not going anywhere because it is almost time for our babies to be born." Tony said. "I can't miss this occasion." Tony said. "I assure you, you wouldn't have." Loki said as he chuckled. They laid together until the next morning. "So we are finally in the last month." Tony said. "Time to finish the nursery." Loki said.
