Loki was five months pregnant, and he felt totally useless. Peter was in his last month of school before summer break, and Tony had been helping him move into a spare room. Loki had been sprucing up a room for the nursery. He was at the point where none of his old clothes fit comfortably so he was just stealing stuff from Tony's closet. Peter's room was about ready and all Loki was worried about was getting him out of May's apartment. "Should you be lifting?" May asked him. "It's fine. It's not going to hurt me." Loki said. (That was a lie). Loki got the last boxes out of her apartment and took a bath to try to help with his back pain. Tony saw this and got in with him. "I told you that you shouldn't lift the boxes." Tony said. "I don't want to talk about it." Loki said. "What do you mean?" Tony said. "I said I don't want to talk about it." Loki said. "Loki..." Tony said. "Just shut up. Tony." Loki said. He stood up and wrapped himself in a towel and got dressed. Tony quickly got up and ran to him. "I said to leave me alone, Tony." Loki said. "Loki..." Tony repeated. "I said leave me alone, Tony." Loki repeated. Tony left the room and sat in the living room as he waited. "Mood swing?" Natasha said. "Particularly strong one." Tony said. "How often does he have these episodes?" Steve said. "Only since he went in month five, about once a week." Tony said. Peter stood up. "I'm going to go try to reason with him." Peter said. He slowly walked into the kitchen and grabbed a tub of ice cream on his way into the bedroom. "Mr. Loki?" Peter said as he knocked on the door. "Just go away." Loki said in between sniffles. Peter quickly opened the door and sat next to him. He just started sobbing as Peter closed the door. "It's okay." Peter said. Peter handed him the ice cream and he began eating it. "Thank you, Peter." Loki said softly as he sobbed. Peter wrapped his arms around him and allowed him to sob into his shirt. "This is really good though." Loki said as he moved away from Peter and wiped his eyes. "Can Mr. Stark come back in here?" Peter asked. "I was so mean to him, I don't think he will ever want to talk to me again." Loki said as the door swung open, and Tony walked in. "Hey, Bambi." Tony said as Peter walked out. "I'm sorry, Tony." Loki said. "It's okay. You can't help it. It's just your overactive hormones." Tony said. Tony wrapped his arms around him which only resulted in him sobbing. "Let's just relax. Take some deep breaths." Tony said. Loki just nodded and allowed himself to be scooted closer to Tony. Tony removed his shirt and Loki leaned against his chest listening to his heartbeat. Tony chuckled, "You feel okay?" He asked him. "Tired." Loki admitted. "You seem to do a lot of sleeping lately. Can you sleep at all through the night?" Tony asked. "I can't get comfortable, Tony. Any position I lay in is so uncomfortable." Loki admitted. Tony just nodded. "I figured." Tony said. "I'm going to order you something that might help. Pepper has been telling me about it." Tony said. "You can't just not tell me, Anthony." Loki said. "It's a pregnancy pillow, Lolo." Tony said. "That is very sweet of you, Tony." Loki said. "So you do want it." Tony said. "If you want me to sleep then yeah." Loki said. Tony just chuckled and pulled out his computer. Loki just laid on his chest. Tony put the computer on his lap and began researching to find the best one. Tony felt Loki's breathing slow and moved him onto a pillow. It was around noon and he kept researching until about 7. Loki was oblivious to everything at this point. His nightmares have been relentless at night, but everywhere he looked it said it was normal. Tony just liked watching him sleep. He was even more gorgeous when he was sleeping. Tony watched him stir for a second and kept typing. He finally found one and ordered it before flicking on the television. The news was going over some celebrity couple that moved into a cabin. Tony just chuckled. Peter walked in to check on them. "Ned is coming over." Peter said. Tony nodded, "Just stay quiet." Tony said. Loki woke up and looked at Tony before looking at the clock next to the bed. He ran his fingers through his raven hair before sitting up. "Tony?" Loki said. "Yes, Lolo." Tony said. "The babies require Chinese." Loki said. "Like right now." Tony said. Loki just shoved him off the bed and chuckled. "Particularly crab rangoons, Tony." Loki said as Tony walked out. "Specific type of chicken babe." Tony said. "My normal." Loki said. "Ask Peter and Ned if they want anything." Loki added. Loki sat up and changed the channel. The worst part of the whole situation was how ravenous he felt at any hour of day. He hated sending Tony to get him food, but he simply couldn't help it. He stood up and walked in the living room. "Hey, Mr. Laufeyson" Ned said. "Hey." Loki said as he got a water out of the fridge. "How is school?" Loki said. "Ends at the end of this month. Maybe we can help you with the nursery." Ned said. "That would be wonderful." Loki said. Peter just smiled. "Would you like to try?" Peter said. "What are we playing today?" Loki said. "Mario Kart." Ned said. "Tony always beats us. Because that man is goaded." Ned said. Loki just chuckled. "It can't be that hard." Loki said. Peter helped him to learn the controls and he was able to figure it out. "How is he beating us?" Ned said. "Not sure." Peter said. They all chuckled, and Tony heard them as he headed upstairs. "Finally get him in it too." Tony said. "Hand me a controller. I bet I can beat all three of you." Tony said. The next race, Tony did in fact beat all three of them. Loki just smiled at him. They walked to the kitchen together and Tony kissed him. "Did you get the food?" Loki said. "It's in the garage. I want to show you something." Tony said as they headed downstairs. Loki headed downstairs with him. He found the candlelit picnic in the backseat of a convertible. "Tony.." Loki said. "I'm going to drive us down by the bridge. That way you can see the stars." Tony said. Loki got in the front-seat of the car and Tony drove them down. "It's beautiful, Tony." Loki said. "Not as beautiful as you." Tony said. Loki just blushed as Tony kissed him. "Have you thought of any baby names?" Tony said. Loki just stared forward. "Honestly, no." Loki said. "What are you thinking about?" Tony said. "How I really have to use the bathroom.." Loki said. Tony just chuckled. "Oh. Your being serious." Tony said. Loki just chuckled. "Perfect way to ruin the moment right." Loki said as Tony started driving to a gas station. "Just a reminder that you are providing life for us." Tony said. Tony pulled into a gas station and Loki pulled his hood over his head. Tony handed him a pair of sunglasses which he put on. He walked in and got the key before heading back to the bathroom. He handed the clerk the key back and heading back to Tony. "Is this a normal thing now?" Tony said. "Yeah. It can be sudden sometimes." Loki said as Tony put a hand on his shaking leg. "Why are you so nervous?" Tony said. "It's the babies Tony." Loki said. Loki put a hand on his stomach to try to calm them down to no avail. Tony drove home in silence because he knew something was going on. Loki got out and puked on the garage floor. "There it is." Tony said. Tony began rubbing his back. "You hungry?" Tony said as he took the bag out of the back. Loki just chuckled. They sat on bar stools in the garage and ate their dinner. "So, you really haven't thought about names?" Tony said. "It's not my main goal right now, but I do have a list." Loki admitted. "What were you thinking, Mr. Stark?" Loki said. "Adrien for the Boy, and Michelle for the girl." Tony said. "This is why you aren't naming our kids." Loki said as he continued eating. "So what? Your ideas are better than mine" Tony said. "Much better." Loki said as he chuckled. Loki stopped for a second and just stared forward again. "What?" Tony said. "It's nothing." Loki said. "It's most likely something." Tony said. "My feet hurt, Tony." Loki admitted. "I'll go run the bath." Tony said. Loki nodded as he finished eating. Tony stopped in the doorway. "I'm going on a business trip next week. I have three tickets." Tony said. "Where?" "Europe." Tony said. "I'll come. Does that mean we are bringing Peter?" Loki said. "I knew you would say that." Tony said as he smiled. "Just come upstairs whenever you are ready." Tony said. Loki packed up the food and took it upstairs and put it in fridge. He heard a familiar voice and felt Peter wrap his arms around him. "Hey." Loki said. "Mr. Stark made me come get you." Peter said. "That's sweet." Loki said. Peter released the hug and walked into their master bedroom. He removed his clothes as he walked in the bathroom. "It's ready." Tony said. "Thank you Tony." Loki said. "I'll be in the bedroom if you need anything." Tony said. "Stay." Loki said softly. Tony removed his clothes and got in with him. He saw him wince and put his hand in his. "Just breathe." Tony told him. Loki just moved closer to him and kissed him. Tony kissed him back and they sat together in silence. Tony got out first and helped his fiancé get out. "Feel better?" Tony said. Loki just nodded. Tony gave him clothes and they went out to the living room. Bruce was sitting there watching them. "Has he had any checks so far?" Bruce asked Tony. "One." Tony said. "I can do some tests in the lab if you two would like." Bruce said. Tony walked out of the room with Bruce. "I'm starting to get worried about him. He is constantly complaining about aches and pains. Is that normal?" Tony asked. "Seeing how far along he is. I believe that is pretty normal, but I can run some tests." Bruce said. "Let's try tomorrow." Tony said as he looked at the clock that said midnight. Tony walked into the living room and found Loki laying next to Peter fast asleep. "Goodnight, my love." Tony said.
