A powerful kid

"Edalyn.. You have a kid?!" Eda turned around with Luz in her arms, "lily!? How did you find my house?!" Eda held Luz close to her. "That doesn't answer my question!" Then Lilith caught sight of raine. "Edalyn.. Did you and raine...?" Eda looked at Luz then at raine, realizing what she meant "O-oh! N-no no! Well yeah a few times.. But Luz is  adopted" Lilith stepped forward carefully "a-adopted? Why would you oh adopted a child" eda gave Luz to raine, but then Luz made another accidental spell circle, causing a small blast if water to hit Lilith. "D-did she do magic?! Edalyn how old is she?!" Eda looked at Luz and Raine, "you need to leave lily"  eda said in a  stern tone. Lilith looked at Luz and Raine "i- I didn't mean any harm, I just haven't seen you in a long time and I wanted to make sure you were okay" eda relaxes a bit, "okay, fine" Lilith walked up to eda and gave a warm smile "edalyn, I'm happy for you"  Lilith pulled eda into a hug, to which eda returned "would you mind if I held her?" Eda turned to Raine who gave a reassuring nod "yeah, just be carful, she has random magic surges" eda took Luz from Raine and handed her to Lilith, Luz also quickly took a liking to Lilith, as she was a friendly baby. Luz started her mindless baby babbling and it had the same effect of Lilith as it did eda and Raine, it made her smile. " you know edalyn, you should enroll this girl in hexhide"
Eda looked down and took Luz from her sister. "Lily, Luz has some real talent, hexhide would ruin that, they'd force her to choose 1 type of magic, Luz is  already doing 3 different types" eda said holding Luz over her shoulder. "I understand, then maybe you two should home school her"  both eda and Raine smiled at the thought, "yeah maybe we will. Would you like to stay for dinner?" Eda went to put Luz down for a nap, and hooty watched over her. Eda and Lilith caught up while Raine made dinner, and prepared food for Luz, as she would wake up in another 10 minutes or so.  "And that's how we got Luz" Lilith was very Interested in Luz, doing that kind of magic at her age was un heard of. "Wow edalyn, I'm sure she'll make you proud"  eda smiled, then saw hooty bringing her down, letting her slide down him. "HERESS THE BABY" hooty yelled. Again luz's mindless baby y noises of excitement. "Thanks hooty," eda said picking Luz up "that's my girl!" Eda said tossing her up in the air, then sitting her down. "Okay eda I have all the food ready!" Raine said putting down food for Luz then all the adults.  "Thanks rainestorm" eda said starting to feed Luz. Lilith noticed eda tilting luz's head back after every bite "edalyn? Why are you tilting her head" eda feed her another bite with out tilting her head, Luz swallowed it, but then regurgitated it back up on her clothes. "That's why" eda said with a narrow eyed smile. "Luz.. Is a unique little girl" Raine said as eda went to grab a napkin to wipe of luz's clothes. "I.. See" Lilith said nervously. "Eda finished feeding Luz then started eating her self. "Calamity, Luz is doing it again"  Lilith looked up and saw Luz was nowhere to be seen "w-whered.. She.. Go?" Eda looked up and gesturing at her hair. " she climbs in my hair sometimes."  Lilith couldn't help but let out a chuckle "you two are remarkably good parents. " was there any doubt" eda said smuggly "yes, you have weapons everywhere"  Raine chuckled "yeah... Eda wanted to keep them around, so Luz wouldn't be afraid, if she was ever threatened. Lilith nodded "fair point, very mature sister" eda finished her food and reached in her hair looking for Luz. "Come onnn I know your in there" eda said rummaging around her wild hair looking for her daughter. "Gotcha!" Eda said pulling Luz out if her hair. "There's my baby girl" Raine said kissing Luz and eda on the cheek. "Well I should get going, I'll come see you soon edalyn" eda waved good bye to her sister. But then Lilith turned to eda right before leaving. "The emperor will know nothing of your child" eda felt relived and happy at the same time. Months go by, Luz continues to grow, in age and strength. By now Luz and preformed all kids of magic, eda and raine to their best to keep her magic under control. By now, luz was 1 year old, eda and raine expected her first words to come soon. Eda was watching Luz carefully incase she casted any spells, Raine was sitting next to her, "hey calamity, what do think her first word will be?" Eda wasn't really paying attention but gave an answer "I don't know.." She was keeping track of luz.  "Calamity?" Raine called out, "yeah.." Eda replies I a daze watching her daughter, to make sure she doesn't hurt herself. "Eda!" Raine yelled, causing eda to snap out of the daze she was in. "Y-yeah, sorry honey" she said finally taking her gaze from Luz. "You've really changed eda.. " Raine said softly. Eda looked at Luz then ant Raine. "Well, yeah.. You changed me Rainestorm" eda said in a genuine tone "when we met, the first time you held my hand, I fell for you.. Hard" eda said with chuckle "you.. Made me actually go to classes, do my homework, study.. Sometimes" eda turned her head and looked Raine in the eyes "after a year with you, I knew I loved you, then we started dating... And then you proposed to me.. I never thought anyone in this world would marry me, then here you come." Raine had never heard something like this from eda, so naturally it caught them off guard. "If it wasn't for you, I'd probably be stealing, scamming and committing crimes, every day" eda still did those things, but only once a week, just for the rush. "Then we found that little girl on our doorstep, it only took her 2 minutes to touch my heart. I can't imagine life without either of you, you guys are.. My world, you..me,and our little owlet" eda leaned back with her eyes closed, just enjoying the moments she'd had with her little family. "Eda.. You sound-" eda chuckled cutting Raine off "dorky? Yeah.." Raine kissed her on the cheek "motherly, you sound motherly" they both exchanged a laugh, "most badass mother on the isles?" Eda asked, already knowing the answer. "Without a doubt" then heard a different sound from Luz, other than her mindless noises. "Mmmm, mmmm!" Eda and Raine looked at Luz closely and eda secretly hoped Luz was trying to say mama. "Mmmamityyy" eda nd Raine were a little confused, "mamity?" Raine repeated. "Mammityy, mammityy!" Luz yelled reaching out for eda. Eda picked her up and Luz finally got out her first word. "Cawamity! Cawamity!" Both eda and Raine were shocked. "Calamity.. She said calamity!" Eda yelled joyfully, eda was on the verde of tears while Raine tried their best not to laugh. "Oh.. Mhmm Titan.. I'm her first word!" Eda tossed her baby up in the air, and Luz continued yelling, "cawamity! Cawamity!"  Of course she didn't say it properly, but it didn't matter. For the next few weeks that the only thing Luz would say, but it never got old to eda and Raine, eda had even tried to teach her a new word. "Raine, come quickly!!" She yelled out for Raine who was in the room they shared with eda. "What's wrong?!" Eda held Luz up to Raine, "come on baby y, say it again"  Raine listened closely "cawamity! And rwainestworm!" Eda had taught Luz to say raines let name along with hers. "Eda! Did you teach her that?" Raine said while chuckling. "I just thought, she should know who you are to" eda held Luz closely wondering what surprises she had next for them next.
