The Consequences

It had been 2 months since she saw her family, she  missed them again. But she had no time to be sad, she was called to the throne room. She never liked entering that room but as the golden guard she came often. "Yes.. Emperor belos?" Luz asked softly. "Ah, yes, I have a mission for you, I am in need of special potion ingredients, and I need you to find them"  luz got the list of ingredients, this mission took her a day and a half to complete. This was the type work luz had to do. When she arrived back at the castle, she delivered the items to belos. " well done luz, now one more thing, the coven day parade is tomorrow so go rest up you'll be performing.  Luz was glad she could sleep, she was tired and physically exhausted. When her dinner came, she had her usual tea.. It was always green, but today it was pink?. She drank it anyway. The next day came, Raine was out getting things for the house. When they saw a poster, they were shocked and read it carefully. When they read the whole thing they grabbed to poster and ran home. "I have news on luz!" Raine yelled both eda and lilith ran to the front door. "What is it!? Is she okay!?" Eda asked, then being held by her sister to calm down.  "The coven day parade is tomorrow and the golden guard will be performing!" Eda and lilith got excited. "That means we can see her tomorrow!"   "Hold on. If she performing that means all eyes will be on her, so we should wait until she starts patrolling" lilith said softly. "Alright, let's get planning then" eda said in a confident voice, one that Raine hadn't heard in a long time. The next day came quickly, they went over the plan one last time before heading off that night. They weren't wanted anymore so they didn't need to hide. Then kikimora came to the stage. "Welcome! Citizens of the boiling isels! We have a very special show for you all tonight! Of just the kind of magical abilities were looking for, when it comes for the emperors coven! Please welcome! The golden guard" a puff of smoke appeared. Then luz slowly come out. Eda, Raine and lilith watch carefully. Luz first used magic to call two beasts to her sides. Then made rings of fire and water, having the beasts jump through them. She then used Bard magic to make herself float, all around the stage. Then falling creating a 20 feet tall abomination to catch her. She stood on its shoulder. The crowd was amazed by this use if magic. Luz then used water to carry the abomination she was on around the crowd. Her family was so proud to see how her power had grown she never did things like this before. Luz then put the abomination back on the stage and leaned off of it. Congering a giant flower to bounce her into the air. And land again on another one, spreading flower pedals through the crowd, then creating a illusion message that said, the emperors coven awaits you!.  Her family watched this from the crowd, so very proud of her. She left the stage and the floats started comming out. Eda Raine and lilith split up to look for Luz. Some time passed and Raine caught sight of Luz. Aponseeing her they walked twoards her, then Luz ran in the other direction. Raine chased after her, but couldn't call out her name. Luz looked back and started running faster. Then eda was in front of her. "Luz!" They both called out. Luz paused for a second. The ran right passed eda. Lilith met up with them and they continued to run after Luz.  They didn't understand why she wouldn't talk to them. They eventually cornered her, but didn't crowed her. "Luz it's us!" Lilith said. As Luz just stared at the wall. Then slowly turned around. "Move aside" she said coldly. "Luz what's gotten into you?" Raine asked. "How.. Do you know my name?" She asked, genuinely confused. "What?.. What do you mean? Luz were your family" eda said walking a little closer to her. "I don't have a family, move aside or il have to use force" eda Raine and lilith stood firmly blocking her way out. "Fine" she said, then casting a water spell blasting Raine and eda back. Lilith didn't want to hurt her so she tried to keep her in the ally way. "Luz please listen! We're not trying to hurt you!" Luz did say anything. Eda and raine came back, building a barrier to keep Luz from leaving. "Luz.. Kiddo.. Come on.. It's us!" Eda said, trying to reason with her. Luz tried to get away, but eda grabbed her at the last second.  "Luz listen to me!" Eda said in a stern tone. "Let me go!" Luz yelled.  Luz struggled to get away, but she was still a kid. "Luz stop it!  You have to listen to me!" Luz noticed the grip wasn't tight around a certain part, and used it to her advantage. Luz pushed that part of edas arm and got away pushing her to the ground. Summoning fire to her hand. "Drop the field!" Luz threatened aiming the fire at eda. "Drop it! Now! Or else!" Luz was shaking.  "Raine don't do it!" Raine looked confused and scared. "Eda! She's going to hurt you!" They argued. "She won't do it" eda said looking at the shaking child. Lilith then casted a spell shooting off luz's mask. As they watched it fall to the floor. They saw her face, full of tears.  "Drop the shield! Or il cook her!" Luz yelled turning her head away.  "Luz please listen!" Raine pleaded. "I don't know you! Let me go or you'll all be arrested! And the owl lady.. Will be petrified" Luz commanded. "You won't do it" eda said standing up. "B-back up! Il do it!" Luz yelled again. "Then do it, I won't fight" Luz then shit a small fire at edas hand, hoping they would give in. "Raine drop it!" Lilith said. "Rainestorm! Leave it up!" Luz couldn't take it anymore. She casted another spell, vines to break the barrier. When it broke they tried to stop her, but she got away and fled to the castle. She rushed to her room. And closed the door. Throwing her mask on her bed. Crying, tears streaming down her face. Then heard a knock on the door. She put her mask on and opened it. It was kikimora. "The emperor has called for you" Luz was now terrified. She nodded and went to the throne room. "Remind me of our deal before this paparad started" he said harshly. "Put on a good show, patrol, and stay away from my family"   Luz said softly, her voice shaking. "Yes very good, and I know they probably would have come for you anyway, if you were forced to fight them, what did I say to do?" He asked walking up to her. "Don't hold back.." Belos held up their staff. "And did you?" Luz already knew he was watching her. "No.." She was struck by magic and fell to the floor. She scream filled the room as it echoed. "Why not!?" He yelled at her. "T-their my family! I can't hurt them!" She was struck again.  "Oh you could have, but you chose to disobey me!" She was scared of what he would do next. But instead he tapped his staff of the floor, nothing happened at first, but then she saw a vision through her eyes. Her family was brought into the throne room, she wanted to run to them but she couldn't move, belos appeared in front of them she called out for them, but instead she watched as they were brutally murdered in front of her. When they were dead, the vision stopped. Luz fell to the floor sobbing. "Please.. Don't hurt hurt them.. " belos stood over her. Then here is what your going to do.
