2 years had passed, Luz was 6 years old now, and eleidgable for hexhides multi course program, raine had gone to the school a week before to enroll her in the school and put her in the program. Luz's first day of school was today and nobody was as nervous as eda. "Okay baby, head straight to the principal and tell him what tracks you want to take" eda said to Luz at the front of the school. Luz bad on her uniform but the sleeves were gray, eda had on her cloak so she wouldn't be spoted. "Okay mom!" Luz said. "Be careful okay? I'll be back to pick you up at 3" eda said in a low tone. "Have a good day, okay baby?" Eda said trying not to cry, I know. As tough as she was, she was holding back tears. "Bye mommy!" Luz yelled running towards the school. Eda flewaway, leaving Luz on this adventure. Luz walked around the halls looking for the principal. "Are you lost?" Luz heard a girl her age ask. Luz turned around and it was a girl with pale skin, and Navy blue hair, in the plant track. "Yeah, I'm looking for the principal" Luz said. "I can help!" The girl said taking luz's hand. "What's your name?" The girl asked. "It's Luz" she replied. "I'm willow!" They got to the principals office "il see you later!" Willow said heading back to class. Luz knocked on the door. "Come in" a deep old voice said. Luz walked in and saw the principal sitting at his desk. "Welcome to hexhide, are you.. Luz clawthorn?" He asked. Luz nodded her head. "So your in the multi track program? Which tracks would you like to take?" He asked. Luz thought about it. "All of them!" Principal bumblebee looked surprised. "Very well" bump changed her uniform entering her in every track hexhide offered. "Have a good first day" he said as Luz left. She entered her first class, Bard lessons. "Okay class we have a new student" the teacher said "please introduce yourself" Luz looked at the class, almost all if them had only the bard uniform on. "Hi.. I'm Luz and..i play a flute" Luz sat down in an empty seat, then class proceeded. Luz already knew most of what the teacher was saying but still payed attention. "Luz, can you play any bard spells?" Luz nodded. "Would you demonstrate?" Luz got up and casted a spell circle to summon her flute, Nd whispered to herself. "Raines.. Rapsody" Luz she'd the song she learned from her parents. And the teacher seemed impressed. "Very nice Luz" the teacher said asuz sat back down, Luz was proud if her self for prefecting the song that was so important to her parents, even so she couldn't wait to tell them. After her bard class was over she had plant class next, there she saw willow. They instantly connected, then when Luz had lunch, she met Willows other friend "Luz this is Augustus, or Gus for short" Luz smiled. Then she caught sight of a picture of her mom Gus was holding on a news paper "hey, what's the title on that paper?" Luz asked trying to seem she didn't know the person, eda and raine already explained to Luz why eda was outlawed, so for her own safety not to tell many people she was her mother, or her life would be in danger. "Oh, her name is the owl lady! She a wanted criminal" then a teacher came up behind the children taking the paper from Gus "you could be to, I don't care about this muti track program, you all need to join a coven when your older. Or you'll turn out just like her" the teacher walked off but Luz was still upset about what people say about eda. "Hey Luz, what classes do you have next?" Gus asked. "Oh, um I have orical, then illusions, beast keeping then abominations" both Gus and willow admired Luz for studying all the tracks. "That's cool luz!" Willow beamed, they finished their lunches and went back to class. The rest of the day was pretty much the same, all the teachers were impressed with luz's skills at such a young age. She got plenty of compliments from the students as well. Soon enough school ended. Luz walked out side and saw eda almost instantly. Luz ran to her and gave a big hug, since this was the longest she bad ever been away from her parents. "Hi mommy!" Luz said hugging eda. "Hey baby! How was your first day?" Eda said putting her daughter on her staff. "It was super fun! And I have my Bard teacher a mustache!" Eda chuckled as the started flying home. "That's my girl!" Eda beamed hearing her child had already started pranking. "Oh and I played you and Raines special song!" Eda smiled while landing in the front yard of the owl house. "LUZZZ NEVER LEAVE AGAIN" booty yelled seeinguz come back. "Hi hooty!" Luz said back as he brought her in the house. "There you are luz!" Raine said picking her up. "Hi raine!, I played the song you and mommy taught me!" Raine smiled looking over at eda. "Raines Rapsody?" Luz nodded. "How come the song is named after you anyway?" Eda put her click on a table as Raine started explaining "well, mommy liked me so much, she wanted to make me a gift, so she made me a song and named it after me" Luz seemed happy with that answer. "Learn any new spells luz?" Raine asked putting Luz down. "Yeah! From my orical class!" Luz made the biggest spell circle she could with her little arms. A future telling spell, luz's eyes turned a dark purple as the spell circle showed a small vision. Eda was on the floor with a bad briuse, there were coven scouts around her with Luz in her arms, but Luz looked okder, then a growing figure grew in front on eda leaving her shocked. And that's when the spell ended. "Did I do it right?" Luz said holding her head. Both eda and Raine were shocked. "What happened? Did I show anything cool?" Both eda and Raine looked at eacher but forced a smile for their daughter. "Yeah, cool" eda said, Luz went to her school bag and pulled out 3 peices of paper, her homework. Ed and Raine went to the room they share and closed the door. "Raine, what was that!" Eda said starting to panic "all the coven scouts and.. Luz! What if she gets hurt!" Raine grabbed eda's arm and pulled her into a hug. "I.. Don't know.. It wasn't a complete vision, sure everything will turn out okay." Raine said calming eda down. "But whatever happens Luz will stay safe."
