The next morning Xavier woke up to see Ember right next to him as she was last night. Smiling down at the gorgeous goddess beside him he relaxed. Gently and carefully to not wake her he placed a kiss on her cheek. Ember mumbled and stirred a bit before falling right back to sleep. Xavier turned over to the bedside table he grabbed his phone and dialed Porter's number

"Good morning sir" 

"Morning Porter, I'm going to need that reservation I requested to be ready by tonight" 

"Yes sir, I'll see to it that everything is in order. Is that all?" 

"Yes it is" 

"Yes sir" With that the conversation ended. Setting the phone back on the table Xavier moved back under the covers as he scooped up Ember just as he did last night. Again she grumbled a little before getting comfortable still asleep. With her laying on his chest he let one hand rest on the lower part of her back while the other ran through her hair occasionally either cupping her cheek or her neck. As he lay there with Ember on his chest all that went through his mind was that never wanted this moment to end and to have this forever. Sometime while holding Ember he had fallen back asleep with his hand resting in her hair. 

Around midday, Ember woke up while Xavier was still asleep. 

'Aw he's asleep' she thought seeing him peacefully asleep. That was until her stomach rumbled. Tensing up thinking he was going to wake up but he never woke 'Damn I guess all that work exhausted him' Stretching over him she reached for her phone. Having gotten Porter's number from Xavier she called it 

"Good afternoon Miss Ember" Porter greeted 

"Good afternoon Porter, is it possible for you to bring some food to Xavier's bedroom?" she asked 

"I can do that. Is there anything in particular you want?" he asked 

"Hm a sandwich I guess or whatever the kitchen makes" 

"Alright and I assume you also want me to bring the master something" 

"Yes if that's not too much trouble. It seems like he's exhausted himself" There was a hum from the other side 

"I'll get it over soon" 

"Thanks, Porter" 

"You're welcome Miss Ember" Hitting the end button she set the phone back on the table. That was until unexpected hands graced her hips 

"What was that about me exhausting myself hm?" Xavier muttered his voice raspy from just waking up again 

"Mm well you were asleep when I woke up"

"That was only after I woke up earlier," Xavier said lifting himself onto his elbows as Ember positioned herself having a leg on either side of Xavier. Placing his hand on the side of her face he leaned forward leaving a kiss on her head "I have a surprise for you tonight" This perked Ember's curiosity 

"A surprise?" he nodded "Oo I hope it's a good surprise" A big grin formed on her face 

"I think you'll like this surprise. You've deserved it" This only made Ember giddy at the thought of whatever surprise Xavier had planned for her. While thinking about what it could be Ember's mind thought about what day it was 

"Oh shit it's Christmas Eve" she gasped "I didn't even realize that with everything else" This made Xavier chuckle 

"You're so cute" Just then there was a knock at the bedroom door 

"Come in!" The door opened to reveal Porter with a silver tray he was holding "Oh yay you can just put it on the table," Ember told him pointing to the kitchen table
