Wherever we were going was a long way from the estate as we'd already been on the road for about an hour

"How much further?" I whined this only made Xavier chuckle

"Not much further a couple more miles and we should be there" I whined again. Seeing this he grabbed my hand interlocking our fingers before bringing it up to his lips "I promise darling, the wait will be worth it"

"It better be. I'm not a very patient person when it comes to surprises"

"I'll remember that for the future" It was about another 30 minutes before we came over a hill. Heading toward the most extravagant building you've ever seen in your life. It looked like someone took a hotel, casino, restaurant, and apartment complex and squished it into one giant building.

The outside of the building was black as the windows covering the whole thing were tinted so you weren't able to see inside. The bottom of the building where you entered looked like the entrance to a casino in Las Vegas as there was a circular driveway that had lights and signs with lights everywhere as well as a tree in the middle of the driveway that was lit up with Christmas lights. There was no telling how many floors the building was as it seemed to be the height of something you expect to see in New York. Toward the top, there seemed to be what looked like a restaurant since there was a balcony that poked out before more floors were stacked on top until you reached the top that also seemed to have a pool or balcony on it. Unfortunately, it was so high that from the ground it looked like a dot to me.

When we pulled around to the front there was valet. Xavier tossed the keys to the person before grabbing my bag out of the back. Walking inside you could tell it was a high-class expensive hotel if it wasn't obvious enough from the outside. The place had accents of gold among the ebony black that filled the lobby. With a connected bar and casino down here.

"Welcome to the five-star hotel Paradise Dream Hotel. What can I do for you two today?" the clerk at the front desk asked

'Damn, no wonder it looks like this. Five stars'

"We have a reservation it should be under Xavier" the clerk typed away on his computer

"Yes, here it is. You have the King's suite for 5 days with the room service special tonight. Is that correct?"

"Yes sir that is"

"Alrighty here are both your keys. If you swipe your card on the elevator it will take you to your floor" the clerk said slide two ebony cards with the edges of gold.

"Thank you," Xavier said as he grabbed the two cards putting one in his pocket while holding the other. Leaving the desk we headed toward the casino that was to the left of the desk when you came in. There was a small hallway between the lobby and the casino where four elevators were with two on either side. Pressing the button the elevator door to the right of us dinged before opening revealing it was empty. Going inside the elevator the walls of it were glass with the floor being real marble as the ceiling was tinted glass. Xavier swiped the card on the card swipe by the many floor buttons before the elevator doors closed and took us up to our floor.

"So what's so special about the King's suite?" I asked a teasing tone in my voice. A smirk graced Xavier's lips

"You'll see" It took several long seconds to actually reach our floor. When the doors opened there was a short step off before there being a door to the right side. Xavier swiped the card on the reader making the red light on the door turn green and a dull unlock noise of the door. As he turned the handle, which was gold coated, he opened the door to reveal not a regular hotel room but a whole fucking studio apartment in this room as well as a pool on the balcony. My mouth gaped open upon entering and looking around the room.
