It was around the month of May when Xavier was sitting in his office trying to get work done when Porter came in

"Sir, there is a letter for you," Mr Porter said bringing it

"Thanks, Porter. You're dismissed" he said as he opened the letter. When he opened it his email pinged at the same time. Setting down the letter he looked at what had come in. When he opened the email his body froze. The email just said 'Time's almost up' with the address email being random numbers and letters with a weird at service. Turning his eyes toward the letter that he just opened he slowly took it out and read it.

'Mr. Xavier Markus,

This may come as a surprise to you but it shouldn't. You knew what was coming. Why would you expect me to forget our plans after only a couple of months of no contact?

You're never going to find me so don't even try. Remember Oct 31st the girls will be returned to their families if not I know who you really are. You don't want this to get out, 10+ years of what you've been building to crash down suddenly because you can't follow a simple contract.'

There was something else in the envelope. Reaching in Xavier picked up a small photograph of a mother and two kids on her left and right. Xavier covered his mouth with his hand with tears coming immediately to his eyes then he slammed his hand down on the desk. Anger quickly replaced the sadness as threats were never taken lightly with Xavier or anyone here.

Xavier was quick after that. He showed Quin the letter and the email but not the photograph, which was hidden somewhere secret

"I don't care what it takes. We're going to find this son of a bitch. And he is going to pay for what he's done!" Quin declared rage dripping from his words.

From then on all the work that Xavier and Quin had previously had got pushed onto Justin and Will as Xavier and Quin focused on trying to catch this person. They contacted every special person they could think of to help them track this person down in whatever way there was but nothing worked. Everything became a dead-end. Whoever this person was, was good and knew how to hide every bit of his tracks from using multiple servers to send something to never being directly involved in the situation unless necessary. This went on for two months, Xavier and Quin constantly trying to find ways to figure out who was behind this and crush them. This led them to only stay in Xavier's secret office which was just a secret door in Xavier's office. Everyone wasn't told anything about this except for Mr. Porter who was forbidden from saying anything to anyone even to the girls if they asked about anything. With the two boys being locked in their office for days on end it worried the girls.

'Another day alone' I thought getting up out of bed yawning. Ever since Xavier and Quin locked themselves in their office Beatrix and I have been worried. What's worse is no one seems to know anything. Not even Will or Justin! And all Porter says is that they will come out eventually and not to worry.

Letting out a sigh I threw on the usual hoodie and shorts walking to Beatrix's room "Beatrix" I knocked there was a muffled mumbled. Opening the door I saw the now normal Beatrix wrapped underneath the covers and blankets "Come on, you know you have to get up"

"No" she huffed going further into the covers. Getting up I went over to the lights and turned them on which received a hiss from her. I then grabbed the blankets and pulled them off of her onto the floor. This resulted in her hissing and groaning about the light

"Get up and get dressed," I told her walking out of her room and heading to the kitchen where the staff and prepared a buffet breakfast with various assorted foods laid out on the kitchen top as well as the table we usually ate at.  Grabbing two plates I filled them up before bringing them back to Beatrix's room to see her putting on some clothes "Anything you want to do?" she shook her head "Ok then we're going to see about Will and Justin" She just took the plate sitting on the bed and ate without a word.
