1. Uniforms 🦋

*Shinobu's POV🦋*

Spending all night treating demon slayers's injuries without sleeping makes me so tired, but fortunately I just finished treating the last one.
I stretched up and was ready to leave after saying goodbye to Kanao and the other girls at the mansion.
It's morning right now, so after this I will probably get in my bed and get a rest.
For now I decided to take a walk, since it's such a beautiful morning today.
Just as I was about to return to my estate, I suddenly hear someone talking. Or rather, arguing.
I turn around to find the source and what i'm seeing makes my blood boil.

Tomioka-san was getting harassed by one of those demon slayers weirdos who are in charge for the corp's uniforms.
I don't remember that boy's name, but I sure remember how he used to give the girls such revealing uniforms he personally designed.
Fortunately I was there when he tried to approach Kanao, Aoi and even the three little girls who work in the mansion.
Just seeing Tomioka's uncomfortable expression as she tries to refuse the uniform is enough for me to snap.
Without thinking twice I immediately reach the two of them.

-"Tomioka-sama, I personally designed this uniform for the corp's girl members! It's not that revealing, I received the master's order-"
-"Excuse me!~ May I know what's happening here~?" I say, approaching the guy from behind.
-"K-Kocho-sama! G-Good morning..." he says, getting all frustrated and trying to hide the uniform.
Tomioka looks away.
-"Indeed! So tell me, what are you two doing here?" I say, looking at the slayer's back as he turns around to hide more the uniform.
-"O-oh! Just...n-nothing, I was just taking measures for Tomioka-sama's uniform..." he says.
Oh, so you're not going to be honest to me?

I take a look at Tomioka, who just keeps hiding her chest still being uncomfortable and glaring at him.
-"I see~...well, it didn't seem like that from my point of view! And I perfectly understand what's going on" I suddenly stop smiling and look down at the slayer.
I hide my face from Tomioka, because I don't want her to see me in this way.
The slayer trembles in fear, realizing he's been caught in the act since Tomioka isn't even defending him like he hoped to.
-"You know? This is not the first time you approached a girl to give her a more revealing uniform! And Master never said anything about a change of uniform. Now would you care to explain before I burn you and that ridiculous uniform?"
-"I-It's nothing, me and Tomioka were just discussing some...m-measurings" He says while approaching Tomioka and grabbing her shoulder to take her away from me.
I get in between the two, pushing the man away and suddenly grabbing Tomioka's wrist and hide her behind me. She doesn't say anything, she just flinches as I squeeze more her wrist.
I think I'm a little more pissed than usual right now, as I trought, I can't really control my anger in this kind of situations.
-"Now, before I report you I suggest to go away and never show your face around me or Tomioka-san, are we clear? Master will definitely hear about your behaviour, tho. Being disrespectful to women but showing fear around men? Pathetic." I say, giving him a mocking smile.
He flinches and he decides to bow down and then make a run for it, leaving that disgusting uniform on the ground.

I take a deep breath to calm myself down, then I turn around to Tomioka.
-"Are you okay, Tomioka?" I say, patting her shoulders lightly to reassure her.
-"I...am...Thank you, Kocho." she says as she looks down.
-"No problem! Now, let's burn this stupid uniform and then we're going to get lunch together!" I say cheerful.
-"B-but I... maybe anoth-"
She tries to refuse as always but I suddenly cut her off.
Not this time Tomioka.
-"It's my treat today so you're not going to turn me down! If you didn't turn down people so easily, they would definitely like you more." I say, taking a peek to see her reaction.
She looks away, ignoring me. But I'll let it slide since I admit I didn't say something nice to her.
-"I was just joking, don't take it too seriously! And besides, you have me so don't turn me down and let's get closer!!" I say.
She looks at me for a moment and nods.
She can be so cute when she's not avoiding people and pushing them away.
Not that I really care about how she treates other people, the important thing is that she doesn't push me away.
After burning that disgusting uniform, we leave the training camp and head to a restaurant to have lunch.

As we're walking, we head to a street who's surprisingly full of people, making it difficult for me and Tomioka to walk side-by-side, so I almost loose her a few times.
To avoid that, I suddenly grab her hand and make my way in front of me.
Tomioka is shorter than me, maybe even shorter than usual as she barely reaches Mitsuri's chest so it's difficult for me to see her in the middle of all those people. The only thing reassuring me of her presence is the warm feeling on my hand caused by having her hand in mine.

We continue walking until we reach the front of the restaurant.
I purposely chose this restaurant, because I always see Tomioka in here eating her favourite dish, so I took her here.
Her reaction amuses me, as she realizes where I took her, and her eyes shine with sparkles.
How can she be so cute just by looking at a restaurant?
We enter and we take a seat, so me and Tomioka are facing eachother right now.
She seems a bit nervous by all these people approaching us, but she doesn't say anything and keeps on playing with her messy hair, looking away.
She looks so cute right now I may just eat her for lunch today.
