AMAZON'S WHITE WINTER HYMNAL: WHAT WE KNOW
prime video just announced the cast of their upcoming series white winter hymnal, set to be released near the end of 2016. named after the 2008 song by fleet foxes, white winter will follow the story of a girl who falls asleep and wakes up in another dimension. here is what we know about the leading cast and who they will be portraying.
NESA VULTURE AS LOLA DEBENDETTIS: romanian-american nesa vulture, who rose to fame as absynthe in marvel's age of ultron, will be portraying the lead character of lola debendettis. lola falls asleep as she usually does, and wakes up in an unfamiliar world. the series will follow her as she tries to get out.
CORY MICHAEL SMITH AS MICHAEL GRAHAM: best known as the riddler on gotham, cory michael smith is moving to amazon to portray michael graham in white winter hymnal. a mad scientist of sorts, he will be lola's biggest help, as he is no stranger to events like this.
ANTONIA FAYE AS KIARA BLACKSTONE: kylie faye's sister has received a lot of hate and backlash in recent days. however, her character of kiara blackstone seems promising—a villain easily comparable to loki, who has a lot of tricks up her sleeve. but was she really worthy to play this character, or is she just here because of her sister?
LETITIA WRIGHT AS CORINNE SANDERS: guyanese-british actress letitia wright will portray the so-called ruler of the world lola falls into, corinne sanders. we don't know much about her character just yet, but we can only assume it will be some sort of evil queen-type.
KYLIE FAYE AS JANE MARCELLI: the oldest faye sister portrays jane marcelli, lola's aunt and legal guardian (think aunt may-ish) who, obviously, panics when lola disappears. she tries to do everything in her power to get her back.
MARIELLA RAMIREZ AS LIZETTE DUBOIS: mariella ramirez's character of lizette dubois is a detective, aiding jane in her search for lola. the trailer, released just hours ago, does not show a promising fate for this character.
