Free At last (Free Rein)

Chapter 1

Y/n Pov

I woke up to Zoe shaking me violently,

"Y/n, have you seen my necklace?"

"No, why?" I responded have asleep

"It was my moms, it had so much emotional value." Zoe said still searching frantically.

I got up going to get into the shower and get ready to go to the barn.

30 Minutes Later

After 30 minutes I was finally ready to go to the barn, Zoe was still looking for her necklace but I convinced her it was probably at the barn. Plus I promised Jade and Becky I would set up a few cameras to catch whoever was stealing the sedatives. It added as a Hot Marcus cam which Becky was really excited about, I wasn't so into that way of putting it. Don't get me wrong I like the guy, I'm friends with him, but almost every girl in the yard likes him and he knows it.

I got pulled out of my trance by Zoe pulling me out the door eager to get to the yard and find her necklace. "Y/n lets gooooo" Zoe wined as she pulled me to the fence. I followed her over the fence to the yard seeing Marcus almost immediately,

"Oh, hey Y/n" He greeted

"Hii" I greeted back,

"You're on the free riding list, wanna have a lesson?" He asked

"I've gotta go meet with Becky and Jade, but I'll be ready in half an hour if that works?"

"Yeah I'll see you then" he responded

After arranging a lesson with Marcus I went to the hay bale area to meet with Becky and Jade.

"So, I've got the camera system up one in the tack room, one in ravens stall, and one in the main yard, all you have to do is hit that little spotlight thing on your phone to connect." I instruct

"That's so cool, this way we can see exactly what everyone's up to" Becky replied in aah

"And with my added coding we can talk through the cameras" Jade added

"Ok, well I have a lesson with Marcus, you guys keeping testing the system out"

"Oh, your so lucky, a lesson with Hot Marcus" Becky replied

"Yeah yeah, I'm so lucky, by now"

"Byyy" they yelled in unison

After saying by to the girls I made my way over to Monty which Marcus is letting me ride, just for lessons. I tacked him up and brought him to the arena, where i saw Marcus. "Hey, ready for your lesson?" He asked

"Obviously" I respond in a sarcastic tone, he laughs in response before giving me a leg up onto Monty. Once I was on Monty I started walking around.

"So, today I was thinking we could do some jumping today." Marcus yelled to me

"I don't know if you noticed but there aren't any jumps in here" I questioned

"Yeah well we're not staying in here, we're gonna go do some cross country jumps out in the fields" he responded

"Why didn't we start there then?"

"Just come on" he yelled while laughing

I made my way out of the arena and over to the fields, with Marcus walking next to Monty.

"So, are you going with anyone to the dance?" he asked

"I wasn't really planning on going if someone didn't ask me, dances aren't really my thing" I answered

"Well, in that case, would you maybe want to......" he got cut off by Becky before he could finish

"Y/n!" Becky yelled

"What?" I questioned her

"I need your help to find GP"

"Fine" I answered before turning Monty around

"But..." Marcus tried but no one was paying attention

"I'll see you later Marcus" I yelled over my shoulder

"Yeah, bye" Marcus quietly said

First chapter, I'm gonna try to update at least twice a week (probably more). Other than that I hope you liked the first chapter. If there is anything I can improve on let me know. Talk to you all later.
