The following morning, Leila awoke Summer to get ready for their planned breakfast. Summer started to cry a bit being the emotional person she was."Save those tears for later Summer. You don't want to get puffy." Leila said wiping her tears before grabbing her bag and heading for the buffet.
They sat at the same table they sat at the first morning. Everything coming full circle.
After getting their food, the group ate in silence, afraid to ruin the peaceful moment.
When Summer broke it with her sobs. "I don't want to leave," she said in between her cries.
Matteo hugged her, as she cried. "I'm just going to miss you guys so much." she continued.
"Summer don't worry we'll see each other again," Matteo told her.
"Yeah and I'll be moving to Florida soon, so I'll see you guys too," Aiden added holding Leila's hands.
"Yeah, I know. We definitely will. It's just I don't want to leave this. This place." She sobbed even harder. And her words made Leila cry too.
They were a crying mess and the guys just laughed as they tried to comfort them.
Eventually, they had to get going though, so before meeting up with their families, they decided to help the girls with their bags.
But then the moment came. Summer looked like a pufferfish at this point.
She said goodbye to Marissa, and Aiden but couldn't let go of Matteo.
"Summer I have to go," he said.
"I know I know." she kissed him one last time.
Aiden and Leila were the same, they couldn't let go of one another.
But eventually, they did. As the girls watched the boys walk away they noticed Aiden had been serious since Rachel had not said a word the entire time.
But then Aiden turned around and ran towards Leila. He kissed her again before running back to his family.
They all waved before stepping off the ship.
"I'll call you" Matteo yelled.
And that was it the girls waved till they were out of sight. They stood there with their suitcases wiping their eyes.
They decided to cheer themselves up with some Starbucks cake pops, but even that didn't work.
They just sat there till their families showed up and it was time for them to go home too.
