Woodslack was quite a wild and dangerous forest for those that ventured deep into its shadows, and yet it could also be very nice, friendly and even sweet for the casual visitors that it would often receive every weekend.
The visitors center was a huge, cabin-like wooden building equipped with pretty much anything that a visiting family could need, and that day the main camping area was already crowded with hundreds of colorful camping tents and excited teenagers chatting everywhere!
Taking a visit from Lawndale High in its entirety was quite a challenge, and yet Woodslack Forest was up to the task, especially thanks to the twenty forest rangers and well over fifty camping guides that now assisted the students in every way that they could need...
The day remained all cloudy, though rain had stopped for now, and Quinn Morgendorffer was really happy to see just how jealous her friends Sandi and Stacy were already!
"Quinn, that's lovely! It looks perfect on you! What a wonderful present!"
"Thank you, Stacy!" Quinn replied in cheerful spirits and with special fondness towards her, since she knew that Stacy was always sincere and good-hearted to everyone- "I love it! It was a huge surprise! When I saw it, I could hardly believe it was real!"
Quinn's personal camping tent was a soft shade of pink, Stacy's was deep blue and Sandi's big tent, set up by the camping guides not so far from that point, was fluorescent green. The Fashion Club had made sure to claim one of the best spots in the entire campsite, far from lesser students and very close to the visitors center, so the three of them would be as fashionable and comfortable as possible.
"That's very nice!" Sandi exclaimed in her rather low voice, and at this point she was hardly able to conceal just how envious she was- "However, I need to speak seriously now, Quinn! What were you doing, sitting with Coulthard in the bus?!"
"Oh, it was the only available seat!"
"Fine! Just... Never talk to her again!"
"Yeah, that's great, Sandi... Hey, look! That's John Astrella right there!"
"Where?!" Stacy cried out in great surprise and excitement, already looking everywhere around her as she tried to find the famous forest ranger, like it was some kind of mysterious and magical creature that they were hoping to catch- "Where's Astrella?!"
"I cannot believe it" Sandi said through greeted teeth, and her fists now closed in rage as she witnessed the scene that took place thirty or so yards from them- "I shall be the one to speak, you get that? Let's get this sorted out!"
John Astrella was standing there for sure, and he was a dream come true.
The young man looked indeed like a Mediterranean jewel, with long, dark brown hair and brown eyes to match, and also a lean, but clearly fit and strong body. John was cheerful, overflown with enthusiasm and at least six feet tall, and on top of all that, he glowed gorgeous wearing the Woodslack Ranger uniform, which was brown and bright red.
Astrella already attracted the attention of every Lawndale High girl, some were even gaping from a distance, others were just sighing and yet it was only one of them that was actually speaking to and even joking with the ranger of dreams...
Anna Happy Girl Coulthard even hugged John Astrella as they cheered and laughed together, just like they were the best friends ever and nothing else mattered to them.
