Chapter 7

Arthurs POV

Once we get back to Camelot, I walk Merlin back to his quarters.

"Thank you." He turns to me, holds my hand up and then kisses it. Shivers get sent down my spine but I choose to ignore it.

He gently lets go of my hand and opens the door to his chambers. "I will see you tomorrow."

"Goodnight, Merlin." I say to him.
"Goodnight, Arthur." He smiles and then walks into his room, shutting the door behind him.

I stand there for a while. Just staring at the door, I wanted to go in. Wouldn't it be awkward, though? I don't know. Maybe I should just knock.

I slowly move my hand up to the door and I knock. Merlin opens the door shortly after and says, "Already missing me?" with a smirk.

"Uh, sorry, I'll go." I scratch the back of my neck.
"No, stay." Merlin opens the door wider for me to walk in.

I smile and hesitantly walk into his room, looking around. It looks the same as mine, mostly. Merlin closes the door and then lays down on the bed.

He pats the space next to him, gesturing for me to lay next to him. So I do. It felt nice to be close to him. We both get under the covers and then Merlin says, "So, why did you knock?"

"..I wanted to come in."

"Good thing I invited you in then, huh?" I nod a little at him as I move closer to him. He puts his arm around me and pulls me towards him more.

"Do you want to go sleep or...?" I look at his,
confused.

"Or what?" I ask him.

"You know.." He then placed a kiss to my cheek and starts kissing down to my neck. I was still. I didn't know if I wanted to do this with him.

But it felt good. And he was perfect. The only person that my father set me up with that I wouldn't mind marrying.

So I let him carry on. He's now kissing my neck, leaving a couple of hickeys and causing me to moan a little.

He gets on top of me, moving his lips to mine. He gently kisses me, both of us have our eyes closed. I kiss back shortly after him. We kissed each other slowly until merlin licked my lip. He was asking for entrance so I gave it to him.

He slipped his tongue into my mouth and we continued to carry on with what we were doing. He stops a couple minutes later and pulls back. I open my eyes and so does he. We stare into each others eyes as he starts to unbutton my shirt.

He pulls my shirt off and goes lower down my body, kissing along my chest.
