-Third Person-

As they began to wake, the Beavers announced that all of them will have to walk a lot to Aslan's camp. As they arrived at a cliff, Mr. Beaver pointed where the Pevensie must go.

"Now, Aslan's camp is near the Stone Table, just across the frozen river," he replied.

"River?" Peter asked.

"Oh, the river's been frozen solid for a hundred years," Mrs. Beaver responded.

"It's so far," Hermione noted, looking at the river in the distance.

"It's the world, dear. Did you expect it to be small?" Mrs. Beaver asked.

"Smaller," Susan glares at her.

Mary sighed as they continued walking.

"Come on, humans, while we're still young," Mr. Beaver announced once again.

"If he tells me to hurry up one more time, I'm going to turn him into a big fluffy hat," Peter squatted to help Lucy onto his back.

"I rather have him not," Hermione said..

"Hurry up!" Mr. Beaver shouted.

"He is getting kinda bossy," Lucy agreed.

"No! It's her! It's the Witch!" Mr.Beaver shouted as the Beavers ran ahead.

They saw a sleigh racing towards them. Hermione screamed to Pevensie siblings to run.

"Run!" Peter shouted.

Lucy gets off his back and grabbed his hand. Hermione grabbed Susan's hand as they ran. The Pevensie sibling ran off the ice and hid in a small cave. As Pevensie siblings sat, they could see someone's shadow and heard footsteps. There was a few moments of silence.

"Maybe she's gone," Lucy whispered.

"I suppose I'll go and have a look," Peter got up, but she pulled him back.

"I'll do it!" Hermione shot up and took his spot.

"No, you're no good to Narnia dead!" Mr. Beaver told as he got up.

"I promised Mum I'd protect them," she turned to him. "Let me."

When her came out, she gasped. Father Christmas was standing in front of her. He smiled at Hermione as he explained what he was doing. She also explained what they did. She crouched, looking in the den, and smiled at Pevensie siblings.

"Ah!" Lucy screamed.

"Come out! I hope you've all been good, because there is someone here to see you!" Mary said as they all emerged from the cave.

They saw Father Christmas standing before us.

"Merry Christmas, Sir!" Lucy smiled as she walked up to him.

"It certainly is, Lucy," Father Christmas agreed, adjusting his belt. "Since you have arrived."

"Look, I've put up with a lot since we got here. But this...," Susan whined.

"We thought you were the Witch," Peter added.

"Yes, sorry about that," Father Christmas looked back at his sleigh. "But, in my defence, I have been driving one of these longer than the Witch."

"I thought there was no Christmas in Narnia," Susan said to him.

"Not for a long time. But the hope you have brought, your Majesties, is finally starting to weaken the Witch's power. Still, I dare say you could do with these!" Father Christmas announced as he pulled a bag out of his sleigh.

"Presents!" Lucy squealed as she approached Father Christmas.

Hermione chuckled at Lucy's happiness. Father Christmas handed her a cordial.

"The juice of the fire flower. One drop will cure any injury. And though I hope you never have to use it...," Father Christmas informed her as he handed Lucy a dagger.

"Thank you, sir. But I think...I could be brave enough," Lucy thanked him.

"I'm sure you could. But battles are ugly affairs," Father Christmas reminded her as Lucy walked back to Hermione.

He turned to Susan and Aurora, who walked up to him.

"Susan and Aurora, trust in this bow and it will not easily miss," he explained as he handed her a bow and quiver full of arrows.

"What happened to, 'battles are ugly affairs?'" Aurora asked.

"And, though you don't seem to have trouble making yourself heard...," He chuckled as he handed a horn to Susan. "Blow on this, and wherever you are, help will come."

"Thanks," Susan thanked him as them walked back.

"And finally Peter, Mary and Hermione. The time to use these may be near at hand," Father Christmas handed Peter and Hermione a sword and a shield.

"Thank you, sir," Hermione thanked him.

"They are tools...not toys. Bare them well and wisely," he instructed us. "Now, I best be off. Winter is almost over and things do pile up when you've been gone a hundred years! Long live Aslan! And Merry Christmas!"

Father Christmas drove off as we waved goodbye.

"Bye!" They shouted. "Merry Christmas!"

"Told you he was real!" Lucy said to Susan.

"It really is, Lucy." Aurora said with a smile.

"Did you hear what he said?" Peter realised as he looked at Mary. "Winter is almost over."

"You know what that means," Mary finished "No more ice!"

(I have a skip about frozen river because i can't write long for this chapter.)
