I grew up hearing about the walking undead. I had a fascination with it as a child.

Violet woke up to the sound of screams. At first, she thought it was just a nightmare, but then she realized that it was real. She got out of bed and looked out the window. The streets were chaos. People were running, and some were being chased by others. It was like something out of a horror movie.

Violet quickly got dressed and packed a bag. She had no idea what was going on, but she knew that she had to leave. She took a knife from the kitchen and left the house. The streets were now empty, and the only sound was the sound of her footsteps.

As she walked, she saw people lying on the ground, some dead and some moving. They looked like zombies from the movies, but this was real life. Violet didn't know what to do, but she knew that she had to keep moving.

She walked for what seemed like hours, not knowing where she was going. Finally, she saw a group of people ahead. They were all armed, and they were fighting off a group of zombies. Violet didn't know what to do, but she decided to join the fight.

She ran towards the group, and one of the men handed her a gun. She had never fired a gun before, but she had seen it in movies. She aimed and fired, and to her surprise, she hit one of the zombies. The group cheered, and Violet felt a sense of pride.

After the fight, the group introduced themselves. They were all survivors, just like Violet. They had all lost someone, and they had all seen the horrors of the outbreak. They told Violet that they were going to a safe house, and they invited her to come along.

Violet didn't know if she could trust them, but she didn't have a choice. She followed them to the safe house, hoping that she had made the right decision. Little did she know that this was only the beginning of her journey.
