For me, it's a multitude of things. In the modern world, there's a real genuine fear of loss of individuality and I think the undead speak to that. I also think the idea of the dead coming back to life, and this unstoppable foe that just keeps coming and coming, but rather slowly just chases you, is a real primal fear. It's like a fear of claustrophobia, heights or water.

After Violet's sacrifice, the group was devastated. They had lost their leader and friend, and it seemed like their chances of survival were slim.

But they knew that they had to keep fighting. For Violet and for themselves.

They spent the next few days fortifying the warehouse even more, creating traps and barriers to keep the zombies out. They also trained harder, honing their skills with weapons and hand-to-hand combat.

And then, the day of the final battle arrived. A massive horde of zombies had gathered outside the warehouse, and they were determined to break through.

The group took their positions, weapons at the ready. They had limited ammunition, so they had to conserve it as much as possible.

The battle was intense, with the zombies relentlessly attacking. But the group held their ground, fighting with all their might.

At one point, it seemed like they were going to be overrun. The zombies were breaking through their defenses, and their weapons were starting to fail.

But then, a miracle happened. A group of survivors from another nearby community arrived, armed and ready to fight. They had heard about the group's bravery and decided to come to their aid.

Together, the two groups fought off the zombies, pushing them back and defeating them one by one. The battle was long and grueling, but in the end, they emerged victorious.

The survivors from the other community decided to join Violet's group, and they all celebrated their victory together. They knew that the road ahead would still be tough, but with their new allies, they felt like they had a fighting chance.

As they looked up at the sky, they knew that Violet was watching over them, proud of what they had accomplished. And they vowed to never forget her sacrifice and to always fight for their survival, no matter the odds.
