"Where did you find that one?"
"I have no idea. I'm a magnet for crazies, I guess."
"They must be able to sense a kindred spirit."
"You're one to talk. Don't you have more hordes of the undead to lead in a glorious revolution?"
"Zombies not undead. There's a fine distinction. And no. Right now I'm scouting new talent. The glorious revolution comes tomorrow"

Violet and her group had finally gotten rid of the threat posed by Marcus and his people. They had a renewed sense of unity and were determined to work together to survive in this new world.

But their newfound solidarity was short-lived. One day, while they were out scavenging for supplies, they came across another group of survivors. They were led by a man named Jack, who seemed friendly and genuine.

Jack and his group were in desperate need of food and shelter, and Violet and her group were happy to help them out. They shared their supplies and even offered to let Jack and his people stay with them in the warehouse.

Violet was hesitant at first, given what had happened with Marcus, but Jack seemed different. He was grateful for their help and promised to do everything he could to contribute to the group.

For a while, everything seemed to be going well. Jack and his group were helpful and friendly, and they all worked together to keep the warehouse safe and secure.

But then, one night, Violet overheard a conversation between Jack and one of his people. They were planning to take over the warehouse, to push out Violet and her group and take control for themselves.

Violet was devastated. She had trusted Jack and had welcomed him into their group with open arms. And now he was planning to betray them.

Violet knew that she had to act fast. She called an emergency meeting with her group and told them everything she had overheard. They were shocked and angry, but they knew that they had to be prepared.

They spent the next few days fortifying the warehouse, making it harder for anyone to break in. They also started keeping a closer eye on Jack and his people, watching their every move.

Their suspicions were confirmed one night when they caught Jack and his people trying to sneak out with some of their supplies. A fight broke out, and in the end, Jack and his people were forced to leave the warehouse.

Violet felt betrayed and hurt by what had happened. She had trusted Jack and had tried to help him and his people, but they had only wanted to take advantage of her and her group.

It was a harsh reminder that in this new world, trust was a luxury they couldn't afford.
