Chapter 16

I could barely sleep. I don't why but I was too excited yet anxious about working with Caleb

Once I checked the time and it was 5:30 I figured I could finally get up

I did that quietly so I wouldn't wake Caleb and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a shower

Then I tied a towel and started searching for something to wear

I probably shouldn't wear jeans to an office but I don't really know what to wear either

Let me go ask Caleb

"Caleeeebb!!!"

He groaned and rolled over

"It's past 6 get up"
 
I stated tapping him

"I told you before, I'm the boss I can go whenever I want"

"Who cares, I need you to pick out an outfit for me plus you have a lot of work to do with more work coming the earlier you face that the better"

You rolled his eyes at me as he reluctantly got up

He's got the worst attitude I mean do boys even roll their eyes

I leaned on the wall and watched him fumble through my wardrobe while yawning then got up looking like he had achieved something great as he raised up a red top that one never worn because it showed way to much cleavage and a black leather skirt that didn't even get to my mid thigh

Let's just say Addison loves to be.. well you know the center of attention and even though her natural beauty is enough for that her dressing and makeup are a 100× booster and she picked out my wardrobe the same way

"I'm going to an office not a strippers club"

"You can wear a coat over it so no one else sees and then when it's just us..."

"No"

He pouted

"Try again"

He picked another skirt that was almost to my knee this time and a sky blue nice shirt

"Now that's much better"

Immediately we got into the office the secretary started giving me dirty stares so I knew she didn't like me.

Caleb introduced me to all the employees as his new secretary and some gave me nice smiles but the others (mostly women) were trying to tear me to pieces with their gaze.

She showed me my office which was just a door away from his, so I got settled and tried to make it more comfortable when I heard a knock on the door

"You're the boss are you supposed to be knocking"

" I'm not the boss but I'll take that as a come in"

A lady walked in and I recognized her as the receptionist. She sat at the other chair in my office and even got her self comfortable

The bitch didn't even ask, rude much

"Um excuse me, is there something you need"

"Can't I just come and make friends with a new staff besides I think we could be great friends since we have so much in common

Like we've both had a Caleb era you know he sleeps with you makes you feel on top of the world then ends it. I know you are probably still thinking you guys are going to end up as a beautiful family with kids and blah blah blah but that's just a fairy tail that can't happen dear, I have been there"

"Are you done"

"Yeah sure unless you want to hear all the juicy information of how he put his-"

"Ok! ok! thank you I think you've expired your welcome can you leave now I have work to do"

"Don't say I didn't warn you, I'll be hear for you when he breaks your heart love"

She got up slithering like a snake (that's how I like to imaging it just let me be) and carried her slutty self out if my office after giving me a dirty look.

I sat down and put my head in the palm of my hands and I heard another knock

"Really you don't think you've said enough!" I yelled and Caleb walked in

"Whoa it seems like someone's been here before me" he smiled but I only looked away

His smile dropped and he moved closer

"Oh no what have I done, is today your birthday did I forget something"

Birthday really?

"Yeah you definitely forgot something"

"What? A kiss?"

"Nice try, how about all the kisses you shared with the receptionist you forgot to give me the full blown gist of that one didn't you"

"Wait what?" Realization creeped into his face "ohhh"

"Yeah ohhh, what else did you forget let me know now did you bang the janitor too"

"The janitors a man"

"Oh... Well who knows that might be the next secret you are hiding from me"

"Look Lisa was simply a one night stand I never thought much of it I was in distress and she was looking pretty I'm sorry I forgot"

"First of all never did I think that you could be one of those men who considers women as something you can use as relief and just forget about it

Second pretty, really? Seems like I can't even feel special when you say I'm beautiful

And third of all if there was really no strings attached after that how come she still works here?"

"I did it willingly and I didn't think it was right to fire her but if she makes you uncomfortable I'll make sure to do that immediately I'll-"

"No!"

"No? Look your confusing me what exactly you want"

"This might be her only means of lively hood it'll take her a lot of struggle to find a job that pays her this well

I won't be able to forgive my self if a woman like me lost her job because I was jealous. Just make sure she stays away from me"

"That i will do and you need to learn to trust me"
