Weeks have passed since she went missing, but I was fine. I was going to ask the girl I love to accept me. If she did, then I wouldn't need Laura. So I mustered up the courage to ask her out. But everything turned for the worst. I was rejected. I pushed everyone away from me and hid away from reality. Life was just to painful.
For days and days I didn't leave my room. I was broken, I begged for Laura to come back. I needed her. Then out of nowhere a melody played in my head. It felt like soft words trying to comfort me. I looked outside the window and saw the beautiful moon. It reminded me of Laura. So I began to call her, "my lady of the moon". It shined on my face and brought me comfort.
But sadly it didn't last long. My heart grew darker and darker. Her light couldn't reach me. I needed to see her. My lady of the moon. The room felt darker than ever before. So I grabbed my belt and embraced the darkness around me, and a poem flew into my head.Im sorry mom, I guess your son wasn't strong enough. This poem is my last goodbye.
