thank you for the votes and requests, i'm working on them currently!!!!

I opened my eyes slowly, squinting from the piercing sun that spilled into my room. My hair lay sprawled out all over my pillow, my legs tangled up in my blankets.

I rolled over, picking up my phone, which had a few missed messages from C/n.

They wanted to go to a park to have a picnic since it was spring break (they thought it was fitting.)

After I texted them back, I got up excitedly, dressing in an outfit that gave the vibe of "going on a picnic with your s/o during spring break."

I walked down the sidewalk, my tote bag with fruit and some other snacks slung over my shoulder. Millions of flowers covered the parks grass. I scanned for C/n's figure.

I saw their bike leaning up against a tree, a Walmart sack sitting in the basket. I picked up the pace, knowing they had to be around somewhere.

"C/n?" I spoke, walking around the large tree that their bike leaned on. C/n looked up from their position on a picnic blanket, different kinds of food sitting on the corners so it wouldn't fly away.

C/n stood, walking over to me with a large grin. They hugged my tightly, I took in their scent before they placed a kiss on my cheek and pulled apart from me.

"This is so cute!" I exclaimed, looking up at
C/n's eyes, then down at all the foods.

I grabbed their cheek, kissing them sweetly as they held my wrist.

"What's that?" C/n broke away from the kiss to ask, motioning to my tote bag.

"Just some snacks," I replied, giving them a peck on their lips before sitting down on the picnic blanket.

I started to unpack my bag, setting different kinds of fruits, crackers, and bottles of tea down.

"You look so good," they spoke from behind me, carrying the last of their food they brought.

I felt my cheeks get hot, looking up at them with a giant smile.

"You look so good."

C/n did their downturned smile that I love, nervously moving their hair out of their eyes.

"I think I brought too much food," they looked down, seeing the entire blanket covered with stacks of food.

C/n lay down on their back, I inched closer, laying next to them. They looked at the sky but I stared at them. I picked a daisy, spinning it around with my pointer finger and thumb before tucking it behind C/n's ear.

"We can just have a picnic every day until spring break ends," I whispered.

They turned to me with a soft smile, kissing me gently before I laid my head on their chest, looking up at the clouds.
